Great View I appreciated hearing your view on evangelism about 15 minutes into your message. You mentioned that in sharing our failures (our sin struggles) and how we handle them we make it real to those who can't see through the mist yet. I needed to hear that all temptations become a test of "who do we love". Thank you. "Who do you loooooooooooooove"? Thoroughly good message. tx
wow ... Wow ... uh, Gabe, Joseph ... WOW Men,
You know what to do... I think it's not a coincidence, Gentlemen, that good 'ol Yahoo posted this very day an article entitled "Record-breaking 405-pound tuna caught". [Monday, Dec. 6]
Reel in Powell. Move it or lose it because South Haven, Michigan WILL snag 'em if you don't. Okay, we don't have a church yet;... but, mark my words: Mark, might, Might, MIGHT (mind you) LOVE JESUS as much as I do and THAT'S what I'm going to find for MY TOWN.
This feisty fish will out pray you for Parson Powell.
Great Sermon! Thank you, Pastor Hughes. Your messages always seem to deeply affect me. I'd like to learn more about Lady Huntington now after considering what you've said about her. To what extent did she give it all away? Did she ALWAYS take EVERY opportunity or did she ever seek comfort knowing that she couldn't do it all...or would she consider that an excuse? Being THAT zealous must have been a lonely existence (excluding those comforts which Christ offers), which, of course would spur her on even more, no doubt. I may never have her means (thankfully considering how few camels actually do make it through the eye of a needle) but I have no doubt a young Hattian child might view me as though I had them. God help us! DV!
