Amen, AMen, and AMEN! Fantastic sermon using Scripture to interpret Scripture and history! What an exhortation this is for our day! Lord, help us to realize that is we who have the true riches; may we only bow down to You and give You glory!!!!
Thank you for faithfully teaching God's Word! Thank you for being willing to stand on God's Word even when you must preach passages which the world and even sometimes Christians find as "difficult" or troublesome. As I have grown in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, I've come to see that sometimes passages are "difficult" in the exegetical sense, but that some passages are deemed difficult because it's antithetical to the world's way of thinking - - and sadly, we as the Church have been tainted by the world, not wanting to submit to God's way which, of course, is always best. This I know from experience. I was so deceived by Satan in thinking that following the world's patterns for a woman was fulfilling and that following "that Bible way" of being a woman would mean living a dull life where I'd be losing out (and this while being a believer). By God's grace I've found just the opposite to be true. Yes, if I stayed at work and had left my children to someone else I could have "gained the world" (literally - by moving up in the global business world I had trained for and worked in), but what would that have profited me if I had lost my children's souls? The blessings of obedience are innumerable! I'm thankful to have been able to work hard with my husband discipling the next generation! What a high calling!
Great Sermon! Fantastic sermon! Amen, AMen, AMEN!!! To God be the glory. May He use this to reach many men, women, and young people in these end times. God's Word is Truth. Thank you, Pastor Joseph for sharing God's Truth. I'd like to share this with my family.
beautifully, clearly, lovingly taught Scripture I'm so thankful that I have learned that God's way is best - even if it comes smack into the face of culture. His way has brought me joy and peace...and this is coming from a former "femi-nazi". Thank you Dr. Ollila for rightly dividing the Word of God which in itself is sufficient to tell us how to live a life which is pleasing to God. Please pray though that those of us wives who do most of the work would just continue to pray for God to show us where we can "adore" our husbands. Some husbands make it very difficult for his wife to "adore" him.
It is heartbreaking to read that the one place, CHURCH, where everyone should be accepted and loved regardless of their sexuality is now the one place where homosexuals are NOT welcome. This is an absolute blasphemy to the love of the Lord Jesus, who welcomed all people of all races and backgrounds to come unto Him. If you are to not welcome gays in your church quoting scripture then I guess you'd better shut your doors to everyone, gay and straight alike. I pray for the Lord to open the eyes of your understanding. Jesus taught us to love one another, He does not love straight people anymore than gay people. It is a sad day when people don't feel welcome in what is supposed to be the most accepting place on earth. I pray God's richest blessings on you.
