Adoption! I was very surprised to realize how ignorant I am on the subject of our adoption by God. What is the difference between our justification and adoption. This lesson is quite informative. Many good things discussed, fear of death and our freedom in Christ to name a couple.
Great Sermon! Many things we need to remember are brought up in this sermon. Trials can be extremely painful so how can we get through them with joy? Sometimes when we're in the midst of our trials we isolate ourselves, we look to God's word and pray and that's the best thing to do, but it's also excellent to have someone give an exegesis of the Scriptures who has great wisdom and experience. This sermon meets that need. I've been encouraged to press on, I hope you will be too. Praise God, He always meets our needs.
Great Sermon! Good insight here, from key passages of Scriptures, in Acts, that show the spread of the gospel and establishment of the church. There truly is only one true church. Stephen's desire to show Christ from the O.T. helps us to see Jesus there as well. This is a very good message.
Great Sermon! This is indeed a very forgotten part of the gospel. I once again take comfort in my Savior as He goes before me, fully the God-Man, tasting death just as I one day will. But, I will never ever know the wrath of God, only He and the lost will know that part of God. May we not forget this very important part of the gospel.
Great Sermon! There's so much in this message it's hard to make a comment about how good it is. A sermon to take to heart and see our Lord with eyes wide open. All the things taking place, Jesus going back and forth, the things said and those left unsaid, our Lord's example to us, all of it just leaves me speachless. This is an excellent sermon, one I hope everyone can hear.
How Long, O Lord? Vengeance is the Lord's, He will repay. This is an encouraging sermon. I'm encouraged to remember that the Lord is just and in control, and to pray for those who are lost. The prayer at the end is a good example of how we should pray.
Outstanding Sermon! This is an excellent message on some very difficult verses of Scripture. I appreciate learning the difference between moral law and positive law. The explainations of the customs of the day and the mind set of the people helped a lot to bring home what Paul said through the Holy Spirit. The explaination of the "simplicity of Christ" is important to get right. Too many good things to say about this sermon to keep writing here. Check out the outline (on the sermon page) for more information.
Great Sermon! I love this sermon, it's so true, God is making us stronger day by day through His beautiful grace, to us, in Christ. We can count it all joy when we go through trials because He loves us and is with us. Great Sermon!
Great Sermon! Twenty five verses make up this little book, yet the passionate warning that comes from those verses is huge. Contending for the faith has become more difficult as the years go by, at least I think so. There are so many who preach God's word who aren't called of God. We have been warned, may we be wise.
Great Sermon! Great exposition of often misunderstood verses. "For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." (2 Cor. 5:14,15 NKJV)
Great Sermon! I can't imagine that anyone who listens to this sermon wouldn't be blessed, with such high thoughts of Christ, with such great encouragement of our glorious future, our blessed hope, it's certain to bless all who hear it.
