Do we really need to attack C.S. Lewis who was just like any typical High Anglican of his day? Who defended the faith in new ways, just because he did it outside the traditional aspect?
He didn't deny the trinity, the deity of Christ, etc.
If he isn't in heaven, than let it be, but we don't need to destroy his earthly credibility.

I could imagine many others will 1) Reform Anglicanism (doubt it) 2) A new Anglican church 3) Defact into Protestant groups (i.e. those who don't want to join Rome).

On the bright side, hopefully this fasting and prayer may change some peoples minds, the minds of some of supposed Christians who have little connection to God, may it change us, and the church.

I doubt evolution, I also believe that the the creation of Genesis isn't as literal as some say, I think if we where to go deeper into science, the Hebrew words, the meaning, etc. Something special may appear to us.

I believe I saw something once on how the Multiverse theory is generally there to support the athiestic theory.

Haha, nope.

The owner of a bar in town won the lottery. Still, pesky "kids" where smoking outside the bar, the store owner next doors four year old son through a rock through the window, and I pee'd in the alleyway outside the bar (and got screamed at...Lord forgive me.) and all of that pretty much happened in the same day.

I will be doing my part, by stocking up on incandescent light bulbs. No point in having to dispose of flourescent "energy-saving" but mercury contaminated versions, with ugly lighting characteristics as a bonus. I've had two of these "10-year" bulbs fail in their first year. Hype is still hype.
Interesting thing in my neighborhood- We've been good conservationists by separating and recycling cardboard, other paper, plastic, glass, and metal cans, as requested. But watching the recyclers pick up the stuff, and throw it all into the same bin in the truck, makes me wonder who's kidding whom.
That's how it should be done. I believe that you can't/shouldn't force people into being "green" but encourage them to do so.

Why Johnny Can't Sing Hymns

“ Hey ”
I like older hymns, especially Amazing Grace on Bagpipes :). I also like Gospel Country (done by Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, etc.). When I'm not listening to music about God, Christ, and such, I will listen to some "rock" music (nothing obscene,etc.). But I don't see where it fits in Church, I can/could understand it when your outside of the church, but in Church classic hymns are so much better.

While Earth "worship" and over doing it is dangerous.
Recycling, buying greener materials, etc. Is great. I'm not saying its a sin to throw away a plastic bottle. But we must remember, this planet isn't ours, its Gods.

Why is he getting this? He shouldn't even be preaching still (and he opened a new church).

With all respect, if he's repenting of that stuff, its great, and Christian love to him.
But, he was leading the NAE and completely misused his position.

Lets pray for those that persecute us (as Christians). Pray for their salvation, and that they may be forgiven.

A lot of those women convert because of marriage (my guess). Plus from what I know, many people who where born Muslims convert to Christianity in Europe.

Well, we ought to pray for the UK, for revival, for guidance, for change, and we ought to Evangelise.

I don't really see the need to criticize him (a little is fine, and healthy). We should be praying for are leaders (even those who persecute you).
