There is a paranoia among some professed Christians, which results in "wacko" thinking or is it "Waco" thinking? The Feds, the Government, the civil authorities are all "out to get you". Listen my friends to what Jesus Himself,and the Apostles Paul and Peter said: "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's...";"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers...the powers that be are ordained of God...Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also....(ROMANS 13);"Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake:whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by Him..." (1 Peter 2. The trouble with this country is that a lot of folks have opted out of society, gone into their little "Christian shell"....they and their kids live in a bubble; Dad is their "pastor",Mom is the only authority figure they know, their 12 siblings are the only other kids they get to play with, and everybody "out there" is the enemy! Wise up, America. "Come out from among them" does NOT mean building walls around yourself, while refusing to engage with your fellow-men. |
