Whilst a healthy diet is obvious Psalm 90.10 tells us that few will live beyond the age of 70, we can be sure that even the healthiest diet gives no imunity against all sickness and illness. Jesus healed many sicknesses and it would be debatable to say such diseases were due to a poor diet when junk food as we know it was unknown. Jesus tells us that food cannot defile us, only the evil heart within Mark 7: 13-23.
