Great Sermon! I absolutely Love this subject!! Absolutely love th subject!
Before any man can walk in the good works which God hath before ordained, before he can be a workman for God, he must be the workmanship of God. He must first be worked upon by God before his work will be acceptable to God. Why is that? (Isaiah 64:6; Romans 3:10,12; Psalm 14:1-3) No man can work himself into God’s favor or by any labour assist in his own creation in Christ Jesus. God is the Creator. God, the Divine Workman, does the work of creating. The believing sinner is the recipient of God’s grace, and is made acceptable in Christ, the Beloved. It is God, the Father. (Colossians 1:12-14)
I believe in verse 10 when it says "believeth unto righteousness" that we must believe in Jesus who is the only one righteous.. We're all sinners and have come short of God's Glory. (Romans 3:23) when we do that it will be a result of us believing what it says in Romans 3:10,12; Isaiah 64:6, Psalm 14:1-3 & Romans 3:20-28.) That's how I take it. Then when that happens we believe in salvation meaning we can only be made righteous through Christ. Jesus is the Only way. John 14:6. Without Faith it's impossible to Please Him. - Hebr 11:6, the other Chapters & verses that help with this. John 15. Romans 4; Ephesians 2:10. Philippians 2:13, 3:9; 2 Corinthians 5: |
