The paradigm I use is what the Lord Himself says in His infallible and inerrant Written Word, the Holy Bible: Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. The Lord uses the “standard or general meaning of the word day” as the reason for the establishment of the weekly Sabbath of His people in the Old Testament. Plus, the opening chapters of Genesis, chapters 1 to 11, are not being read literally, i.e. how they were intended to be read, unless one reads them as the accurate narrative record of the beginning of human history that God intended them to be. |

The heavens do not declare that the universe is older than 6000 years they declare the Glory of God, Psalm 19:1. To determine the age of the universe and the earth we don’t go to fallible science, which is always changing its opinions, we go to the only accurate book of science or history that we have the Holy Bible. Scientists can prove nothing about the age of the earth or universe as seen by their constantly changing ideas about how old it is! The Lord who made the earth and the universe has no hesitation in telling us when He made it: Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Declaring the truth that the Bible is inerrant and infallible is not a circular argument. It is an argument based on the wonderful gift of faith. I have been given the gift of faith, something non-believers do not have, to understand not only Who created the universe and the world, and when He created it, but also what His Written Word is, namely infallible and inerrant. ( Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.) |

Creation and evolution are mutually exclusive because: Premise 1: The infallible and inerrant written Word of God, The Holy Bible declares that God spoke the universe, the earth, and all that is on the earth, except for man, into existence over the space of 6 days. (Ex. Genesis 1:3,6,14) Premise 2: The animal and plant kingdoms were specifically created by God according to their kind. (Genesis 1:11,12,21,24,25) Premise 3: Man was created by the unique activity of God on the sixth day. (Genesis 1:26-27) Premise 4: The lies of evolution teach that the universe “exploded” into existence billions of years ago, (lie 1), when animals finally made their appearance on the earth they kept changing into other animals, (lie 2), and that man finally made his appearance, not as the unique and special creation of God, but as a result of the meaningless word chance. (lie 3) Conclusion: Therefore, just as 2 + 2 = 4 and 2 + 2 = 5 are mutually exclusive, because 4 is the correct answer and 5 is the incorrect answer, creation and evolution are mutually exclusive because creation is correct, the truth, and evolution is incorrect, the lie. |
