Good study. Careful presentation of Paul's arguments, refuting the error of those who deny resurrection, showing the unreasonable consequence of their teaching. Very useful the warning of Paul: association with those who teach errors in such fundamental points makes us to compromise. Very useful the aplication of the preacher to present day realities.
Power of the Spirit. Pastor Pollock, may God listen to your prayer and fulfill you wish and the teaching of this sermon in your life, more than you imagine and even more than you want maybe (because He deals even with things in our lives we do not always want…), so that He should make you a man of prayer and of power as those preacher at the beginning of FPC, so that God may build His church through you and save many sinners! And may God do this with many other young preachers in the FPC!
Great lesoons. We must be centered of God, not on us; we must remember that He is Lord, not us; we must live for Hid glory, not for ours; we must appreciate redemption and grace. What a great thought: patience teaches us that not we are lords of our lives, but Him: we must wait on His will and His times.
Great love. A blessed message on Christian love, which empathizes with others and it is self-giving. A biblical view on emotions and sickness. And a look into God's heart, who knews how much burden we can carry in His grace.
