To say that Spurgeon , and Edwards exercised the petecostal Gifts is complete lies, the pentecostal movement believe speaking in tongues is the sign that someone has been baptized by the Holy Spirit, Neither of these men held to this.C H Spurgeon "Visions and such things belong to the infancy of the Church. Nobody thinks of putting a post to support an apple tree which has been there for the last 50 years. In fact , it could hold the stake rather than borrow support from it.
When a ship leaves the docks and passes down the river you will see it towed out till it reaches the sea.
But that same vessel will soon spread all her sails , and with a heavenly breeze to bear her along , she will need no tug to tow her to the desired haven.
The Church of God today is a tree that need no support of Miracle or vision, a vessel that has braved 2000years the battle and the breeze, and will still, till Christ comes, out ride every storm. you have the word of God which is better than visions. " All the visions in the world since the days of Miracles ( days of miracles past tense) Put together are but mere dreams after all and dreams are nothing but vanity. This dosnt sound like a pentecostal to me, clearly from just these two quotes we see Spurgeon was a cessationist. |

I Have nothing to forgive I wasnt there in the past.But I have lived in times of ethic cleansing here in Ulster , where you cannot get certain Jobs if you are a certain Religion (Protestant). a time when your religion could put you in an early grave. do I forgive those people who have conspired to kill me , and my family? Have they Repented ? I will leave it with God ? all I can say to you GG is come out from the shadow of Rome , Rpent and believe the Gospel |

And as for the fact or should I say myth that Cromwell was some sort of murdering machine, this is simply not true. Cromwell was a leader of an Army the rules of engagement in his day were universal no quater given ( again you can debate the rights and wrongs of this ) it was the same the other way.In wexford and Droghada , the opossing Armies ( who by the way where made up of prodominitly english soldiers ) where given ample chance to surrender, they failed to do so . So the out come was that they where wiped out which is what happened to any defeated force in any country in Europe. and as a matter of fact In cromwells Campaign in Ireland for the first time in modern war, every single grain of wheat, every morsel of food that was taken from Irish farmers was paid for, this had been unheard of before. Another fact for you , any members of Cromwells army caught Raping Irish women ( rape and plunder where also part and parcel of warfare) he put to death. Again G,G THROW OFF THE ROMAN myths of history.
it is because of this false propaganda that 1000's of people in this tiny province have be murdered over the last 30 years. |
