Oh no S.Taylor, this woman resigning does not purify WV. See, the decision to allow gay hiring was a full board decision. These college educated, fully mature board members and president weighed the pros and cons and came out thinking the revolt over the decision would be minimal. They were wrong. Imagine, deciding to follow God's law only if the world approves! So, Ms. Fuller was the really hard core advocate for hiring gays. The other board members could be swayed to delve from their supposed Christian beliefs if there was no threat the funding would dry up. That is why we have pulled all our financial support from WV. I predict WV will revisit this business about having gay employees in the not too distant future when they think more supporters won't mind it or care. We're not hanging around to watch it happen.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I saw that news item about a church offering guns to attract new members. I knew there was something wrong about it and you nailed it for me. No church should resort to gimmicks to attract members! True followers of Christ will have a desire in their hearts to be there on Sunday, to learn more and serve him without such tactics.

I look at this issue like this: #1, Were you created by Him with a tattoo? Answer: No. #2, Does God tell us what he thinks about them? Answer: Yes. Then shouldn't we obey Him? #3, Ask yourself one other question: If your boss gave you a rule to follow at work would you break it anyway? I hope not. So why would you go against what God says? Are we to justify following the fad of the day that violates His word with the excuse that the world approves of it? Finally, #4, is it worth possibly going to Hell for it?

I disagree with those congregations in the ECO over wanting to stay affiliated in any way with the PCUSA. If the PCUSA was full of individuals who somehow never received any biblical teaching or training it would be good to stay because they're ignorant. The truth of the matter is the PCUSA is composed of formally trained (the pastors) and taught people (the laity) in the Christian faith who are rejecting the word of God. No Christian should stay in the PCUSA any more than they should join a local Satanic coven. They are assuming the wide road to Hell and no one who knows better should stick around to join them.

I'm amazed that from a business/profit motive sense that movie makers don't make more pro-family films. Every time they do the box office returns are near or record breaking in proceeds. Yet, Hollywood ignores that insisting instead on films that glorify man & his carnal nature.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Pastor Rubino, if only more leaders in the church would make a simple, direct appeal like the one gave on that street what a difference it could make. Right now as you're probably aware lots of people are following an ungodly call to violence and revenge over the outcome of a certain criminal trial in Florida. Oh, how we, collectively speaking need a revival all over this land.

We may not encounter another like Comstock in our time but at least we can learn more about him and emulate his devotion to the Christian morals.

The fault lies not with just individuals who haven't accepted Jesus of Nazareth as their personal savior, or even those who have but live their lives as if they never heard of him. No my friends, a portion of the fault lies with the fallen state of the Church. Pastors who no longer proclaim the sovereignty of Christ, and/or refuse to declare His rules for life share an equal portion of the blame for tempting the wrath of Him.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Dear Pastor: By the wonder of SermonAudio.com I saw your sermon about the redefinition of evil within the church concerning homosexuality. I want to thank you for standing up for Christ publicly.
