Great Sermon! From Isaiah to Revelation we see the amazing wisdom, justice and love of God. I didn't understand what Luke 23:31 meant, now I do, and I'm glad to understand that statement from Jesus. It's hard to believe that so much can be said about Jesus before the cross. Oh my, what love is this that our Lord Jesus should suffer and die for us.
Excellent Sermon! Pastor Marquedant asked a good question in this sermon, "What would tempt you to sell out Jesus for your own gain?" Something to think about. This series on the passion of Christ is so good and it's not even finished yet!
Don't Be Fooled by False Apostles! The distinguishing signs of an apostle need to be known by all of us so we're not deceived by false signs, wonders and mighty deeds. Also, the heart of the Apostle Paul is seen in these verses and should be the heart of every pastor, what love he had for God's people and our Lord Jesus Christ. The more he loved the less he was loved, but he pressed on.
All of Him "God's throne is founded on righteousness and justice. How can God accept the faith of the ungodly as righteousness?" This message is very encouraging and humbling.
Great Start to the life of King David! Outstanding start to a series that is going to be, on the edge of your seat, exciting. Already I'm learning valuable things I need to know. These things were written for our instruction.
Great Sermon! I'm learning a lot from this series on the covenants. I had thought that the covenant of redemption and the covenant of grace were one and the same. Boy was I wrong. I'm so glad to now know what these two covenants are and how they work.
Great Sermon! Hard pressed – yet not crushed, perplexed – but not in despair, persecuted – but not forsaken,
struck down – but not destroyed,Paul knew the truth of these promises first hand. This is an excellent sermon!
Excellent Sermon! So many good things packed in this sermon it's difficult to make a comment. If you check the sermon details you'll see an outline of the message. The contrast between the letter of the law and the Spirit who gives life is very good. Also many good things said about the conscience.
Great Sermon! I was trying to explain to my friend the doctrine of definite atonement, but I think I only confused her, so I was glad to be able to refer her to this sermon, I believe it will be a great help to her. If you find yourself in the same situation you might want to do the same, this is a very good resource.
Really Great Sermon! This sermon was such a blessing to me. Not only did it answer a question I long wondered about, but gave me a glimps into the future, one that thrills me. We truly can't imagine what God has in store for us. I had always wondered why we hold so tenaciously to life. I believe Pastor Marquedant has the right answer in this sermon.
Great Sermon! Good sermon! Telling people that God will never leave them or forsake them is like telling them that God loves them and has a wonderful plan for their life. We do need to be careful how we restate verses of Scripture. It's the most wonderful thing in all of live to be in covenant with God. Praise to Jesus!
Great Sermon! "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8
What an amazing statement that is! Over the years I've had so many wrong ideas in my head about that verse. This series on the Beatitudes has been an encouragement to me. Thank you Pastor Massey.
Loaded Sermon! This sermon is loaded with great answers to some question like...Why did Paul have Titus circumcized but wouldn't, for the life of him, allow Timothy to do the same? Is N.T. baptism the same as O.T. circumcision? Does Paul's word carry the same weight as Jesus'? What is the present distress that Paul is talking about? Is it always right to say the time is short? Not to mention the encouragement we have from the freedom God has given to us in Christ. Excellent sermon full of sound doctrine, useful for the edifying of God's people. Thank you Pastor Marquedant!
