Once met an Evangelical pastor who exercised the same philosophy. In the category of abortion, he said:
"I'm personally against it, but I support an American's right to choose."
Perhaps conservative evangelical congregationalists are now (inadvertently) doing likewise:
"I'm personally against it [same-sex marriage], but I support an American's right to choose."
God have mercy upon our children and children's children because our generation instead sat on its hands and philosophized with each other that to combat same-sex marriage (with pagans or otherwise) is somehow a "false dilemma."
The consequences are predictable:
2012: 55 million vivisected babies.
2020: 10% of US marriages are same-sex. 10% are polygamous.
