I think the Nicene creed is more important because it says that Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures. This statement unlocks the hermeneutical key to scripture that many seminaries are blind to.
I was part of Campus Crusade at Notre Dame during the 70’s until they were kicked off campus. Gregg Allison the professor out of Louisville and with the Evangelical Theological Society was head of Crusade there for many years. He wrote the excellent book on Catholicism.
