The suggested sermons. 1 is about marriage.

The rest about homosexuality.

It might seem as though even marriage here has to be defended?

I would defend it, but I do think its on its way out. I would up the age to around 21 in all honesty.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Doesnt the government have a right to tell us whats right and wrong, if they legalise it, then we have to accept it surely? They have the rule over us after all.

“ Interesting Times ”
I just realised how strange it is for me to often think that I am glad I have no children. Strange, but very realistic.

“ Great Sermon! ”
It is important to know what God has said, not what someone wanted him to say. A very good presentation.

Sermon:
The Battle Within
D. A. Waite, Th.D., Ph.D.

“ Great Sermon! ”
A valuable lesson from the word of God. Is there a battle for holiness in your life? Where there is no battle, there is no holiness. With no holiness, there is no work of regeneration. The Christian fights against the tide of his old nature. The unbeliever goes with the flow of the world.

I've noticed this. You hand a teenager a tract and they say they're not reading 'all of that'.

So you speak to them and they look at you blankly, mainly because most words mean nothing to them, as they have no definition for them.

It's like talking to someone who doesnt speak the same language. That however is an educational issue.

On a spiritual note, the Bible cannot be understood by unbelievers anyway, not because it is complicated, but because they have not eyes to see or ears to hear. The need the Law first, to convince of Sin, then grace preached to them afterwards. The rest is in Gods hand.

I known of a man who couldnt read. God saved him and changed his life, the first book he read was the Bible!

Simplification as its so called doesnt help, what needs to be done is correct evangelism, done in the spirit of God and for His glory alone.

Sermon:
Why Johnny Can't Sing Hymns
Kevin Swanson
12
comments
“ Interesting ”
Follow the money. Hymns are wonderfull, they can be filled with good doctrine, that both glorifys God and teaches us to be more Christ like. It can also be very comforting in times of trial. You can buy them, but its made for edification foremost. CCM is sold for profit, to entertain, to stir up passion, that quickly dies away or leads astray. It changes often and theres no solid position or clear doctrine in much of it. There is always a new CD out. Are we singing from the same hymn sheet? No Not anymore. We're not on the same page, infact we have done away with pages aswell.
