Having followed President Obama's tenure closely since his first campaign it has been quite evident that his words and deeds reflect that he is merely a "Professing Christian" which defines most people (double-minded), rather than a "Possessing Christian" who exemplifies the nature and doctrine of Christ. He is doing what he can to appease the masses just as Pilate did.
It strikes me that there is a lot of logs in a lot of eyes that need to come out before one criticizes Rick Warren. He is simply practicing the Biblical mandate to be in the world but not of it. I have Muslim friends whom I work with and associate with socially. I don't compromise my faith in doing so. Anyone who is around me for a short time knows that I am a Christian. If you are unwilling to associate with the world, how are you going to bring them the message. Beware that you don't touch God's anointed. I don't necessarily agree with every single point of doctrine as espoused by RW, but he is a man of God and those who attack him will answer to God not man.
