As a former Catholic and a student of a Catholic School, I can testify that it is a religion of works, one practicing those works can never know if they are saved and will go to heaven or not. I could only hope that I was good enough. Yes I prayed to God, Mary and the saints but I had no idea what " Jesus dying for my sins "meant. I also read the bible but knew nothing of the wonderful truths it held all the promises of God to those who would trust Him! When I heard the truly Good News and believed I was so so happy and it did take time for me to learn the true message the scripture reveals but the gospel of Christ is clear all who come to Christ receive eternal life! No sacraments, no priests , no praying to anyone but the LORD! No mediator except Christ! I was only 19 , I was so glad to be free of the garbage I was taught by the Roman church I threw out statues, medals, rosaries, it all went! I am soon to be 62 but I do not miss any of the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church those doctrines are just like the chains they used in the Middle Ages to chain the bible to the pulpit! Only they chain the hearts of men to a false god and false teaching! There is nothing redeemable in the false doctrine of that cult!
But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. (?Psalms? ?50?:?16-17? KJV)
I say if your going around bragging about killing minimal Children ( whatever that means ) and you think crime prevention starts by killing kids born to poor families and you claim to be the one who had written the current health reform law.....you. Mr G have the mindset of a Nazi and you should not be allowed to author any laws whatsoever !
Great Sermon! Blessed are ye when men shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets that were before you. (?Matthew? ?5?:?11-12? ASV)
