Jim Lincoln wrote:
Remember a requirement for an acceptable Bible, one that you don't throw in recycling bin, such as the AV, is:
1. It had Baptists on it's translation team.
2. It is in good contemporary English.
Actually you perfectly pointed out
Jim
GOD does not agree with you on His King James Version of His Holy Word which HE authorised for use and used for centuries.

Remember those words Jim ~ "God does not agree with you."

Secondly what would we need a Baptist for? GOD didn't use one on HIS King James Version. And anyway they don't understand the Old Testament and throw out parts of it which differ from their theologies.

Thirdly "contemporary english" is one thing, Jim, BUT using the (modern) version which Liberal Anglican heretics and popish doctrine sympathiers have contributed too is utter blasphemy.
