Good point about Ralph Ovadal's Heart of the Matter program covering Franklin Graham's activities. I don't think this will get much press; I see the news comes from the Christian Post website, not exactly one of the most popular ones in the world.
So think of it as meant for 'internal consumption' only, that is, for Christians only to talk over (no one else cares).
Since the father's influence has faded, FG has to say something to 'fan the flames' and get some attention. Maybe he hopes someone from a TV network will give him an interview--how about the comic Stewart? or PBS's Bill Moyers, formerly LBJ's press secretary, or ABC's George Stephanopolus, formerly Clinton's press secretary.
Now, as to the 'truth' of what he says, I don't think it will change anyone's way of life. Usually, 'culture wars' means voting for conservatives, which are hard to find today. It happened in Virginia last month but didn't happen in Mississippi. Go figure.
