Shane wrote: Remember our Lords words," if anyone says you fool, will be in danger of hell fire". Be careful brother. I don't agree with Driscoll, but, let us fight the good fight with scripture, not name calling.
God uses the term 'fool' in Psalms is HE in error also? Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalm 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Jesus uses the term 'fool' Is it in error for HIS followers to do so likewise? Matt 23:17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
Paul also applies the terms 'fool' and 'foolishness' throughout the Epistles. Is he in error too?
Oh and as for Driscoll and his Disneyland charismatics they are unbiblical and to the plain Christian they appear to be foolish.
