So this article, having to do with murder of babies outside the womb, has much more application in the MURDER of ............ children, teenagers, young adults, mature adults, seniors, handicapped, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Republicans ....... indeed any person outside of the womb no matter how terribly injured or how close to death.
Twins, The current Obama and abortion thread can be found here Yes, abortion is murder. But this news item is not about the murder of the unborn or partially born but the murder of the born.
Obama, McCain, Abortion ..... sigh. Please get off your hobby horse and wake up and smell the coffee.
The issue here is murder, and the false and evil definition of death.
"For decades, organs have typically been removed only after doctors determine that a donor's brain has completely stopped working." = MURDER
"The procedure — called donation after cardiac death — is being encouraged by the federal government, organ banks and others as a way to make more organs available and give more families the option to donate." = MURDER
"The heart is rarely removed after cardiac death because of worries it could be damaged from lack of oxygen. In brain-death donations, the donor is kept [ALIVE!!!!!] on a ventilator to keep oxygen-rich blood flowing to the organs until they are removed."
Let them take organs from dead people NOT the living.
"He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err."
I agree with John's post 100%, especially the last sentence.
Organ transplants require the donor being alive - in every vital sign used since creation.
The modern transplant industry required the invention of the notion of "brain death" that was applied in the Terri Schaivo case.
The modern transplant industry can have my organs when I am dead. But the transplant industry does not want the organs of dead people !
We will all die one day unless Christ returns first. Lethally taking an organ from a dying (i.e. currently living) person is just as much murder as lethally taking an organ from another living person expected to live for another 10, 20, 30 or more years.
Murder is sin.
Donate your second kidney while alive if you want to, but opposition to murderous "organ donation" is a Christian duty!
