yes, women may wear pants - but they should do this whilst maintaining modesty (and femininity). in many cultures, *not* wearing pants is considered immodest because your pants are part or your proper attire (and, essentially, your underclothing). in these cultures, your "blouse" is a tunic that reaches down to your mid-thigh or knees (or longer). result? your bottom is well-covered - by both your pants and your tunic ("blouse"). - and your legs are not exposed...
