Anon2 wrote: G. K. Chesterton, The Catholic Church and Conversion The first part of this statement by Chesterton is... "To this I owe the fact that I find it very difficult to take some of the Protestant propositions even seriously. What is any man who has been in the real outer world, for instance, to make of the everlasting cry that Catholic traditions are condemned by the Bible?" The sad fact about Chesterton and other Roman Catholics is that they are blind heretics who commit idolatry every day and especially when they practice religion. The Reformation was ordained by God to remove His Church (Protestant) from the silly RC ideas such as worship of dead people and worship of old bones, pictures and other relics. Idolatry is Never Never accepted by God. But the papists cannot see this truth ergo they are not Christian elect. Ex 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God" PS:: For the Papist :- These words are from God's Ten Commandments!! |
