Great Sermon! Some churches approach the meet-and-greet time like a sorority rush week, with active members (sisters) putting on a show for potential new members (rushees), especially when it comes to skit time. I thoroughly enjoyed this sermon. God bless!
Great Sermon! This is a real eye-opener for those who believe that God is only love. There's more to God than love. God is also holy, righteous and just. God has to punish sin.People need to realize this. Friendship evangelism is the biggest scam in American evangelism. Thanks so much for this sermon.
Great Sermon! This is an Eye-opener! After hearing the percentage of children under 12 years old viewing pornography, I was shocked. I remember at age seven or eight (in 1971 or 1972) seeing my dad's Playboy magazine in plain view. Thanks so much for this sermon!
Great Sermon! Please don't use the "r-word" (retarded) to mean "stupid". I enjoyed that sermon otherwise. Organizations, agencies, and service/supports providers use the term "intellectual disability". From feebleminded to mental deficiency to mental retardation to intellectual disability. This group of people are made in the image of God. Even the organization formerly known as the American Association of Mental Retardation changed their name to the American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, which is headquartered in Washington, D.C. Log-on to www.aaidd.org for further information. Thanks so much for this sermon. God Bless!
Great Sermon! Alcohol is so romanticized in our society today. On a personal note, my life has been so touched by alcohol and drug abuse among family members. That is what motivates me to flee from alcohol and drug abuse. Does God bless alcohol abuse? No way. Thanks so much for this sermon. When you come to Baltimore, Maryland, USA, get on the #8 bus and you will amazed at the number of liquor stores on Greenmount Avenue and 33rd Street. The liquor stores offer check cashing services for people receiving public assistance money. Oh, and don't forget the Power ball and Lottery tickets. Thanks so much. Blessings!
Great Sermon! I struggle mightily with finding a balance between loving other people the way Christ loves us and wanting to avoid victimization. Its so difficult to not give in to fleshly desires, especially if someone keeps saying the same things over and over again. We have to be taught that it's wrong to hit other peoplewh,en things don't go your way.
Great Sermon! People living in group housing, ICF/MRs (intermediate care facilities for mentally retarded), and residential care facilities for older people are given megadoses of major tranquilizers to shut them up. I call them "shut-up" pills. The mental state can be best described as "dead but breathing". That's standard operating procedure for so-called house counselors and certified nursing assistants. It's time to stop the madness, wouldn't you agree?
Great Sermon! Wow, this is a real eye-opener! In the music industry people are suing for sampling or using other people's work without proper acknowledgement. Read the liner notes in the CD case for song information and you'll notice remarks such as "Contains samples from song title by artist".
Jesus has so much to say about right and wrong. Trees are known by fruits.
Great Sermon! Excellent sermon! Talk about postmodernism! The apostle Paul really hit the nail right on the head when people with itching ears went to church for the wrong reasons. Goodbye expository preaching, hello food, fellowship, and fun!
Great Sermon! Great sermon! The Purpose-Driven Life? The Purpose-Driven Death is more like it. Your Best Life Now? Depends on your point-of-view. People who focus on the eternal don't consider their lives in this world their best life now.
Great Sermon! Excellent sermon! Church is supposed to sanctify those who are in the faith, not to entertain those who are outside of Christ. Church is for giving honor, thanks and praise to God. Church is about pleasing God, and that means worshipping Him His way, not giving ourselves pats on our backs. To God be the glory! Secular humanism's doctrine: If it feels good, do it.
Great Sermon! Gotta love this sermon! This is a sermon that all parents should listen to. If the kids don't like it, tough munchies! The standard rules of grammar should apply to e-mails- none of this "we r who we r" text slang here. Thanks so much! ty, yw, omg, tmi...
Great Sermon! Great sermon! A much-needed wake up call in a time when all one needs to do to get saved is to pray a prayer asking Jesus to come into his/her heart, sign a card, or stand up and be counted. Repentance is not mentioned, nor is the need to count the cost of following Christ ever addressed. The Road Through Romans is indeed the Highway To Hell. Thanks so much for addressing this difficult subject.
Great Sermon! Excellent sermon! The decency code was called the Television Code of the National Association of Broadcasters. People who grew up in the 1960s and 1970s may recall the N.A.B.'s Seal of Good Practice. The Code also prohibited displays of actress' navels, such as Mary Ann (from Gilligan's Island) wearing a bikini or Jeannie (from I Dream of Jeannie) wearing harem pants. Modesty is always in style.
Great Sermon! The welfare program Aid for Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) is anti-marriage because the recipient risks losing benefits if she gets married. The term "baby's mama" or "baby's daddy" can be traced to the eligibility requirement that recipients stay unmarried. If it is discovered that an able-bodied man is staying in the same house, she will lose her benefits.
