Great Sermon! this teaching was so powerful and full of truth it moved me to tears. even though I already embraced God's sovereignty in election, it hit so hard at my soul how God is GOD and we are not! I am so humbled that he chose me, and it was for nothing that I did because I did not deserve it! I am a filthy sinner who was agonized as I listened afresh to how God shows mercy to whom He will. Who does the modern church think it is assuming we choose, accept, we come to God? we cannot of our own "free will", because our will is a slave to our sinful nature. we are God rejectors and God haters from the start. All I can do is throw myself at his feet in gratitude and praise for saving me! Just because we cannot fully understand God's ways does not make it untrue. on the contrary. If it's in the Bible it is truth and we must believe and preach it, no matter how 'offensive' it is. Thank you Brother Mike for not backing away from solid Biblical truth and doctrine in exchange for popularity. Truth does divide, but Jesus said it would. All praise and glory and honor and power to our GOD!
Great Sermon! I enjoyed this teaching immensely. you rarely hear this truth taught from the pulpit anymore. We should not be afraid to preach these difficult doctrines, for they are God's truth. God is indeed sovereign!
Great Sermon! This was a truthful and much needed sermon. So many are afraid to speak out against false teachers, and yet they are so abundant today. We need to mark and avoid those. Thank you so much.
Great Sermon! It's about time someone is not afraid to preach the truth. Countless people are perishing due to this soft-pedal gospel that is being preached in so many churches. No repentance, no conviction. Just tell them they are alright they way they are. NO! Walking the narrow road is not easy, bit it IS essential. The worldly church's gospel is a broad and fun-filled way. But it's not God's way. Thank you Pastor Marc for preaching truth. It's not popular today and I've been criticized myself for taking a Biblical stand, and this by fellow so-called Christians. We must stand for truth and follow Christ no matter what the cost. For I'd rather be forsaken by this world and even those I thought were my friends, than have Jesus say he never knew me. Thank you Lord for your Sovereign Grace!
necessary preaching thank you for having the courage to address this topic. i know so many people who treat salvation as a one-time event and then live their lives with no evidence of ever being regenerated. it's a touchy subject but we need to discuss it. easy believism is rampant today, and it's so sad to see so many people falsely assured of being born again, when in truth they still need too be! i enjoyed this sermon so much, and i pray that i can tactfully, with scriptural support help people truly understand what it means to be saved and living for Jesus.
Great Sermon! I LOVE this sermon! This is possibly the best refutation of environmentalism I have ever listened to. I already believed these truths but it was still good to hear all the scripture to back it up. I am not at all worried about the earth. My God is sovereign!
Truth! Amen! I have never said "AMEN" more times than I have while listening to this sermon! It is truth and we must not be afraid to speak it! We just had our pastor resign when people in our church questioned him on his erroneous teaching on salvation. He said all you have to do is "ask Jesus into your heart". He even said don't worry about sinning, you may even get worse! WHAT?! No way! Sadly the Bible college my daughter is attending preaches this same way. I did not know this when she enrolled there (the pastor who just up and left us is a product of this Bible college). I am praying that she will leave that school.
Thanks to Pastor Kent for not holding back this truth. Yes it may the unpopular truth, but we are not here to please man but to please God!
hear the truth unconditional election is such a beautiful and precious truth. the reason so many are unwilling to accept this is because it conflicts with man's prideful and willful nature. who are we to say that we have authority over our own salvation when the scriptures clearly teach that God is sovereign over all of creation. that means us too! I rather am humbled that God would choose me who is such a filthy sinner, out of His mercy. is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid!
but yes, we should proclaim the good news of the Gospel to whomever God puts in our path. for we know not who God's elect are, and we may be the vehicle which God has chosen to bring the light of Jesus to!
just because we cannot understand fully, doesn't mean it isn't so. our finite minds cannot always grasp what God's infinite mind can. just trust.
this is truth. Thank you for this teaching and not being afraid to speak the truth as so many false teachers are. We NEED to be aware and warned about such things so we can avoid them! My own church, although very doctrinally accurate, never delves into the current trends and teachings so that we as a congregation can be on our guard against such false teachers/teachings such as word faith-prosperity and the fluffy "Osteen" type of preaching. I have to get all my information from the internet apologetic sites and wonderful pastors on sermon audio such as Olan Strickland for my information.
Keep preaching and I and those like me who are longing to keep the error out of their lives can keep learning!
Great Sermon! I so enjoyed this sermon. It is a sobering reminder for all of us to be grounded in God's Word, so we can avoid error taught by false teachers, which by the way abounds in this day. I recommend all lovers of truth to hear this sermon.
Very well expounded. This is a very informational and well preached sermon on angels. I found it to be accurate and easily understood. The world and sadly some in the "church" are very misguided today with their over emphasis on angels and their role in our lives. Pastor Mansfield puts into Biblical perspective the proper function of angels and our response to that. They are not to be worshiped or called upon, but GOD is the one who has the authority to dispense them at HIS will for our benefit..and only God deserves our worship in response! Please listen to this and the sermon on fallen angels also.
well taught and precise Pastor Albano's entire "future things" sermon series is excellent! There were a few things I missed in my own studies that he accurately pointed out. The churches today do not want to preach about end times and I think it's such a shame. We need to know these things and Jesus himself stressed the importance of his second coming. He is coming regardless of whether the pulpits preach it or not! People get ready.
in despair? Listen to this! A must listen if you are going through a fiery trial in your life! This sermon has been an encouragement for me in my trial. It is a reminder of a great truth that we must hear over again. It can't be stressed enough and Pastor Rugh covered all the bases. Thank you Lord for your word through this pastor.
what Truth Oh how I love to hear this truth. I never get tired of hearing of the power and authority of our great God.He truly is sovereign in everything, and fully in control. This sermon is easy to understand and explains this truth very plainly. Please listen and you will be blessed with this awesome truth as I have.
This is wisdom After listening to this sermon, it confirms what I have been thinking for awhile. As the mom of 2 older teen boys, I see how dating has not been a good thing in their lives. It has caused my son to walk away from his family for the affection of a girl. This is not God's way. Parents, listen up. Just because your Christian friends are allowing their kids to date, don't assume it's the accepted way. Follow the biblical example!
Sobering What a sobering and powerful message for ALL. Even true believers need to get this into their heads. God calls his own to live holy lives. We need to stop compromising. For those who refuse Christ it is a very sad and horrible outcome. Turn to Him now, while there is still time. But the time is short.
