Sermon:
His Sacrifice Is His Glory
John Pittman Hey

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you, Sir. There was much consternation here if no human sacrifice were sanctioned by the Jewish Law, how could the sacrifice of JESUS be accepted? One answer came from Hebrews 10:7-10 but to the Indian mind the glory concept is not clear, how can anyone give any sacrifice for a good cause, for example if Romans 5:6 to 8. We suffer from terrible unbeliefs and humans look on with suspicions as Indians who cannot follow the Hebrew meanings of a sacrifice and often miscontrue it for some cuckoldry and we have to rely on our pirouttes to survive! Thanks for your sermon, maybe you did not mean this sort of reaction but conditions here are too unwelcoming to share the glory concept of sacrifice as Indians pull the rug on one another!

Thank you. I had been thinking off line, the covenant of hostility had been enforced before the covenant of love. Leviticus 26:19,29,40-41 and this to be remindful of the ancient covenant of v.42,45. How grateful is the covenant of peace for us, Ephesians 2:14-17, beyond countful measure!

Sermon:
Memorial Of A Hero
Dr. Andy Bloom
1
comment
“ Great Sermon! ”
Most esteemed Sir, Now this is a good sermon challenging us for who our heroes were. I could avouche for the Babylonians' power, Habakkuk 1:6, as a source of hostile power in the world. It is divided into two camps from etymology of peoples, dating from the Christian : Those that have relations by blood but go back to hatred, Genesis 4 and those that got no relations with blood but go back to where it was shed : Calvary. I am supremely elated to learn you got to preach JESUS CHRIST, and there is no other hero but One. I myself only lately got to the level of Romans 6:7,11 having an experience of 1 John 2:15 in the offing of worldly experiences, even getting to know God from the point of view of the world but to have the Mind of God is only His to give. Not all our mind approaching God from our mind's point of view is likely to succeed. But thanks to them the donors of scripure, 1 Corinthians 2:16.

Thanks for so clear and well spake a sermon. I appreciate the unequivocal quality of the sermon. A recent experience of sprained pain taught me what to believe about the pain endured on the Cross. Though I got over it by medicine, I realized the Cross took away all the pain as it does take away all sins, except both sin and pain entered the human race and few realize how cunningly deceiving is sin without pain that it caused on the Cross. A reminder!

“ Great Sermon! ”
Most esteemed Sir, It was a while since I last commented though for some sermons in a gap this reply comment is being made to measure so to say your sermon. I looked at the frontispiece of Ulster or Dublin and was clear about God's intent to live among men, Lev.26:12 and the God who told all the law to the Fahers, v.42. Now, I reasoned from your homepage, if God so willed to dwell, surely men had better have something to build to welcome God in their habitations. Your line from Malachi 3:16 and so forth, has me questioning why the plan to destroy is written in scripture as if all cities got to be Sodom or something, Isaiah 1:9. Isn't it why men are so clever they are repenting and trying to prevent this seizure of all their buildings and reminiscences of being so special to God that He desired a habitation with them that came about in the mind of David, 2 Samuel 7:1-2 and was done in the time of Solomon, Acts 7:46-47? Thanks for your sermon on the day God makes up his jewels. I expect Him not to destroy as men fear. Right?

“ Great Sermon! ”
Most esteemed Russ Sukhia, You said great things for the Ephesians 5:25-32 teachings on he church and the unity of the said subjects. I got to confess, I got problems like sifting a wardrobe about what to do if no certainty as yet can be found if I want the church to prosper or do I want to find someone to love. Not up to now have I crossed the wardrobe selection and I am failing each time to conclude how to get into something so serious as the relationship you and Paul have mentioned. The mystery has kept us out of the inner church for a long time, a New Zelander did say "You have not been a Christian for a long time", and that was a long time ago, 1975, soon as I got a bit closer to his house church. See what I mean? Now after umpteen years there is no answer in sight and I am left with impressions for my wardrobe and I am upset if there are no plans for the church and none for my either. Happy searching elsewhere? Please pray for me, as this matter is beyond the confines and pales of my race, getting rigged with outside ones and other complications. Prayer would help. Thank you for your sermon.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Most Esteemed Sir, What a wonderful description of theology thou givest by the foundations of Biblical theology over the past 500 years and what for some concerns now? We got to learn a lot by theological education and owing to language differences with Indian natives, if ever anyone came here to introduce a change of speech, he might have suffered abuse from natives until English prevailed. And that too, without a grudge toward whoever or whatever rules this land, Ephesians 6:12, almost sure to drive the Anglice out of India as North Koreans drove the Japanese invaders, is now taking cognizance of the faith of Christians. However, wealth with equal distribution is lacking and no one knows how the others go out of the country and what the secret of destroying the natives by foreign visits really is the discovery of colonial practices. I like to thank the Christian teachers for developing compensations in my mind, and not to have missed out what the world offers which sounds so destroying to natives about its wealth and what they do not have : JESUS CHRIST.

Sermon:
Fundamentalism vs. Apostasy
Dr. Ian R. K. Paisley

“ Great Sermon! ”
Sir, I had heard of you on the BBC. I am glad you got to explaining fundamentalism and apostasy. I confess, the Irish have made some distinctions in the mind of some Indians who are likely to be apostates if the English overrule them. A matter like this tells of some invisible influence on the Indians seeking Christ with the aid of the Devil and only to find they have run into accusings on names and such ills that do not but show some form of contmpt on the belivers where God's grace can mend them into a respectable silence. If only we had more self-control then all the ills made from the pandora's box of the modern mouthpiece might have more music to hum than recall bouts of irritants that can solve no problem Thanks for sharing Fundamentalism and Apostasy. I might require prayer for saying things I could never got out of. But it so happens, they were all inside, Luke 12:2-3 and my rooftop has a sky opening to it. Psalm 19:1.Thank God.

Sir, Gracious thanks for explaining how we come to know Christ. I myself got to admit the sensual way found in Ephesians 4:19-20 with Jesus Christ my only defence of the Advocate, 1 John 2:1-2 Who alone might explain it was not that way but by the Scripture, Ephesians 4:20. If that is true, then our conversion makes sense or else there is a second fear of falling into the self-designed way. Praise the Scripture that upholds believers into not circumknotting themselves but rather calling them to believe the grace of God.

Sir, This is the most convicting sermon I ever heard. I took the liberty of sending it to share with Clancy@cnn.com whose online question last night on CNN was "Is Israel justified in killing the life of sworn enemies?" or something similar to which I replied from Leviticus 24:17 and down to v.22 plus your sermon. Thank you.

Sermon:
One Thing Needful
Rev. Aaron Dunlop

“ Great Sermon! ”
Sir, This is one of the most expository sermons on the topic of Christ's sojourn at the house of Lazarus. For bland minds your exposition of verse 38 is also much for thinkers held up at the simplicity of the implications of distraction and service. And more from your quotings of verses before has involved death and prevention and so forth, already go beyond listening comprehension off hand where reading the text means a paper appraisal of beliefs that pollinate on verses but do not actually assess the gravity of the Lord's presence. Compliments to you for this sermon and more than can be plainly said of the qualification to tell the heart of the Christian religion. Our cursoriness be gone with what you have to say! Listener.

Sir, I honour your choice of title for a Christian sermon Honouring Jurisdiction. However, what crossed my mind had been not so much about the jurisdication of vengeances as the sending of Jesus to Herod by Pontius Pilate for the juridication mentioned in Luke 23:6-12. I wonder what that may mean in the subject of treating subjects within levels of patronage or judgement?

“ Great Sermon! ”
Sir, Randy Wages has enabled vast thinking of the truth emanating from Israel. I had believed one's own thoughts are one's closest companions. But thanks to developements from Israel, we got less to worry if horrified by the world and the God of Isreal is here to help with so many great evangeists who help us overcome our cultural demoralizations. Thank you for Ezra's great sermon we are indeed the humble people of Ezra 5:11.
