Great Sermon! Most esteemed Sir,
Now this is a good sermon challenging us for who our heroes were. I could avouche for the Babylonians' power, Habakkuk 1:6, as a source of hostile power in the world. It is divided into two camps from etymology of peoples, dating from the Christian : Those that have relations by blood but go back to hatred, Genesis 4 and those that got no relations with blood but go back to where it was shed : Calvary. I am supremely elated to learn you got to preach JESUS CHRIST, and there is no other hero but One. I myself only lately got to the level of Romans 6:7,11 having an experience of 1 John 2:15 in the offing of worldly experiences, even getting to know God from the point of view of the world but to have the Mind of God is only His to give. Not all our mind approaching God from our mind's point of view is likely to succeed. But thanks to them the donors of scripure, 1 Corinthians 2:16. |

Great Sermon! Most esteemed Sir,
It was a while since I last commented though for some sermons in a gap this reply comment is being made to measure so to say your sermon. I looked at the frontispiece of Ulster or Dublin and was clear about God's intent to live among men, Lev.26:12 and the God who told all the law to the Fahers, v.42. Now, I reasoned from your homepage, if God so willed to dwell, surely men had better have something to build to welcome God in their habitations. Your line from Malachi 3:16 and so forth, has me questioning why the plan to destroy is written in scripture as if all cities got to be Sodom or something, Isaiah 1:9. Isn't it why men are so clever they are repenting and trying to prevent this seizure of all their buildings and reminiscences of being so special to God that He desired a habitation with them that came about in the mind of David, 2 Samuel 7:1-2 and was done in the time of Solomon, Acts 7:46-47?
Thanks for your sermon on the day God makes up his jewels. I expect Him not to destroy as men fear. Right? |

Great Sermon! Most Esteemed Sir,
What a wonderful description of theology thou givest by the foundations of Biblical theology over the past 500 years and what for some concerns now? We got to learn a lot by theological education and owing to language differences with Indian natives, if ever anyone came here to introduce a change of speech, he might have suffered abuse from natives until English prevailed. And that too, without a grudge toward whoever or whatever rules this land, Ephesians 6:12, almost sure to drive the Anglice out of India as North Koreans drove the Japanese invaders, is now taking cognizance of the faith of Christians. However, wealth with equal distribution is lacking and no one knows how the others go out of the country and what the secret of destroying the natives by foreign visits really is the discovery of colonial practices. I like to thank the Christian teachers for developing compensations in my mind, and not to have missed out what the world offers which sounds so destroying to natives about its wealth and what they do not have : JESUS CHRIST. |
