What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
Deuteronomy 12:32

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
Proverbs 30:5,6

Lawless rebellion against the Crown was like sodomy.
Lawlessness and sodomy go hand in hand in the Bible. You bequeathed this evil to yourselves.
"Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.
But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust."
Revolution = Rebellion?

Sin + Machine Age = Doom?

Rebellion begets Rebellion?

Today's Mayflower is called a voting booth. If we don't want this stuff, we shouldn't elect those who do it or allow it.
The constitutional republic voting booth only works when a majority of the public understands God's Commandments and does them. Otherwise all bets are off.

After 50 years of our contraception-powered sex-soaked culture, all bets are off.

Christ have mercy upon us.

I have to wonder if California is diliberately challenging God to bring judgement upon them. This is an insane provocation.
235 years ago we declared our independence from GB because of taxes, tariffs and userpations by the Crown. But nothing like this -- Secret Sodomy 101 -- paid by us and for our covenant children.

Who bequeathed this evil to us and our progeny?

How do we declare independence from this outrageous tyranny?

Where's the next Mayflower to get us outta here and save our souls and those of our children as the first Mayflower saved them from the social/moral ills of Lyden?

HE MUST REPENT !

Dear Mr. Street-Preacher,

There's not a lie here. Therefore there's nothing to repent of. This is a matter of logic. All Protestants can and should consider this.

Which of the following statements is illogical to you and why?

(a.) Rock & Roll, insane speaker volumes, moshpits, all used to "Sell God," are accretions causing Protestants to drift off course.
(b.) Sola Scriptura -- literally, the "Bible alone" -- means the Bible, the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible.
(c.) Anything added, either oral or written, to Scripture is an accretion causing Protestants to drift off course.

Yours in Christ,

KJV

*REPENT !
Dear Mr. Street-Preacher,

You huff, you puff, you thump your Bible and beat your chest, but you have not substantiated your accusation(s).

Sola Scriptura -- lit. "The Bible alone" -- means the Bible, the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible.

Rock and Roll, insane speaker volumes, moshpits or anything added, either oral or written, to Scripture are accretions blowing Protestants off course.

In Christ,

KJV

"kjv" Is LYING !

You're SHOUTing Mr. Street-Preacher. If you want someone to understand you, it's best to use conventional English rules including upper *and* lower case letters.

Relative to "Selling God" and since your answers were largely unrelated the first two times, can you share your succinct answer to this?

Please provide a coherent explanation relative to your accusation(s).

Thank you,

KJV

Perhaps a better question is, what does KJV think about adding to or subtracting from Scripture?
If one's Protestant he may not add to Scripture; if he's Catholic he may.

Does Sola Scriptura give us any leeway?

I fail to see what you are claiming. Are you telling me it is incorrect to comment on Bible verses?
A significant Protestant doctrine is Sola Scriptura literally meaning "Bible alone."

By this, as a Protestant, what may you add to Scripture?

If one adds anything to Scripture he's not a Protestant.

Of course, if a person is born anew and has the Spirit, and spends his time reading and studying God's word alone, and then after thirty years writes down his understanding of what the Bible teaches on each doctrine, he will inevitably write down a comparable document to the 1689 Baptist confession.
Sola Scriptura = The Bible, the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible -- all other writings, recordings, commentaries, confessions are accretions, barnacles, on the many Protestant hulls.

(E.g., LBCF 1689 = Bible accretion.)

Matthew 7:13,14
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
How would you make Jesus' words "few there be" apply to the RCC, the largest of the "denominations"?
Per the Bible and Canon Law, many Catholics are self-excommunicating -- that is their unrepentant sinful "lifestyles" have cut them off from communion. Thus, unless they repent they shall not inherit eternal life.

According to Jesus: "Straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be who find it" (Matthew 7:14).

(a.) What are the lyrics of these songs?
(b.) What is the decibel level?
(c.) How is "mosh" dancing biblical?
(d.) Why does Laurie, a 59 year old pastor, even countenance any of this?

"When you earn your living by your faith you'll eventually lose one or the other."

Perhaps Laurie, like many other mega-pastors, is losing his faith for the sake of fame and fortune.

Finally, anyone who asks these kinds of questions or makes these points is a legalist, right? Isn't this driving a wedge between traditional and progressive Protestants?

Interesting that the article mentions an alleged miracle (appears to be disproven by a Harvard physician) because of one praying to a dead pope, but, as usual, The Associated Press, doesn't drill down to the underlying theological principles.

They never even answered why the RCC requires a miracle nor did they answer what is the biblical and historical support for this ancient practice, leaving the RCC appearing, again, to be an addled, dopey and brainless billion-person Christian organization.

I'm confident there will be many to whack this straw-man.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 4

Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way ot Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. Jude 11
