I wanted to add that when I said, "acting" on anger, I mean in the sense of condemnation or judgement. A form of action that is good would be to minister, repent, etc. on the hated sin. Anymore elaboration would be appreciated. Thank you brothers and sisters.

Hate sin and love the sinner. Getting angry at sin is not a sin, but acting on the anger is. God said, "Vengeance is Mine." This is what I get from God's word anyway. I still struggle with anger (at the wrong things) all the time but God isn't finished with me, by far.

My apologies for not being clear SteveR. I have just read so many comments and heard so many things said to articles if this nature that were just mean spirited. I understand the frustration on our parts but we are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. I will try to be more careful as to clarify the next time.

As long as we (Christians) continue to lash back at the world, without love, it will continue to be an argument. How can we expect the world to want what we have if we respond to these matters exactly like they do. We are to be sanctified (separated unto God). Yes, we are to not love the world (1 John 2:15). This doesn't mean to lash out to the world. We can stand behind God's Word without a worldly attitude. Just like the Apostle John, we need to learn that perfect balance of truth and love. John had to learn this over time. Eventually, he learned that one without the other is for naught (truth/love).

Total agreement on all three comments so far. I couldn't add anything to them. Well said brethren.

As I am not a part of Pastor Jack's congregation, I don't know what he is all about. Although, according to the statement, "homosexuality is a sin", I do know that it is biblical and commend this pastor for speaking God's truth on that matter. I thank God for those that stand in the gap and are human instruments for God's word.

For those that believe Benny, I think of Jesus' own words when He says in Luke 12:56-57 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky ands of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time? Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

When you conjure up your own idea of god, then it becomes one of the gods that are spoken of in Exodus 20:3. God's word is plainly descriptive of what is right and what is wrong. Any idea ventured away from God's Holy Word becomes mans idea which is feeble and meaningless.

I like that Rufus. I gather that you knew what I meant but I like how you used it for another message.

Regardless of gun control laws, the FACT still stands, this country should concern themselves more with the lack of God in the homes, not the lack of weapons.

San Jose John, it's definitely not sarcasm. I "whoop" my daughter, not so much anymore at age 7, because she has adjusted to the rules of the house in her very early years. Please don't take this as bragging because I believe this is just how it is suppose to be....yes sir, no sir, yes ma'am, no ma'am, thank you, please...etc. You know, "manners". She seems like an odd child because of her mannerism in today's world. The world needs MORE "whoopin' parents" (key element: whoop for correction and not out of anger)
