As for Bill Nye, it's sad on the one hand he is so wrong about it all. But then you think how many minds (young and old) he's influenced over the years with his talk of evolution and other secular, liberal talking points and it's downright heartbreaking.
I had fond memories of watching his show and The Magic Schoolbus after school sometimes (I'm twenty-six so they were BIG during my childhood!) and the pleasant memories of him and the show have absolutely diminished.
I just have to add it's a sad thought when you think that this may not have even been an issue today if the current WH administration would have included the four American hostages in the (ludicrous) nuclear Iran deal, but alas...

I pray daily that the scales fall from these idolaters' eyes and the hate leaves their hearts, that they repent and realize the truth that there is only ONE true God and only ONE way to Him--through our Savior!
Such a heartbreaking thought on the surface, Dave! But I (and I'm sure you and others here as well) take solace in knowing these who are suffering and the martyrs who have passed before them are supremely blessed. Nevertheless we should never stop praying for their safety!
Praying to the Almighty for Zhisheng's safety while in his captor's hands and, in the end, for his safe return. Ultimately we know our Lord's Perfect Will (not sure if needing to capitalize all of that, haha! Forgive me.) will be done and can take comfort in it.
