Every group has their crazies and extremes, throwing out the baby with the bath water is not wise. Anyone can take the fringe to destroy the credibility of the whole but that is not a just weight or measure.

Legalism definitely a big problem today, antinomianism, Gnosticism, and more all alive and well. Existentialism is a problem as well, the biggest cause is the wordless ness of the church. God's word is the best defense against heresy.

Jim You have never compared Bible translations or verses, texts, textual criticism, all you do is quote someone saying why they don't believe KJV is blah blah blah and then attacked anyone who believes otherwise. Study to show THYSELF approved unto GOD. if you want to believe God has not preserved His Word and that the best we can hope for is the Lockman Foundations NASB that's groovy, but for those of us who do believe God promised to preserve His Word unto every generation psalm 12:6-7 We are going to believe the Bible over any scholar and certainly over a scholar hack that has not researched, but merely parrots what others have said. I was almost speechless reading these and then remembered I am never speechless. The 11 requirements of salvation listed were all what must I do to be saved. This list if placed as a result of salvation by grace through faith might be acceptable.mbut in order to have eternal life goes against so many scriptures I hardly no where to begin, maybe Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, Hebrews.
