And yet it is still the law of the land. Bush, Reagan did what they did for political expediency. Nothing more. Actual lives do matter, but so does good and sound doctrine. The Mormon, if elected, will do everything he can to destroy the testimony of Jesus Christ who also saved and is saving lives.
So it does not matter who is voted into office.
[AUTHOR]Mike[/AUTHOR]Correct about changing hearts, not correct about it not mattering who is elected. GW Bush issued an executive order in his first week in office banning federal funding for "international family planning organizations that perform abortions or offer abortion counseling." Planned Parenthood, whose business is destruction of life, is among them. Obama lifted the ban his first week. Reagan was the first to ban the funding, which ban was continued by Bush 1, but Clinton lifted the ban in his first week in office. So it certainly does matter who is voted into office, because actual lives matter.
The States could force the issue. However, for political expediency they have not chosen to go that route. John Yurich USA[/AUTHOR]The Supreme Court has to declare that abortion be made illegal again. And the only way that will happen is if there are all Pro Life judges on the Supreme Court who will overturn Roe v Wade. The only way that will happen is if there is a Pro Life president who will appoint judges to the Supreme Court who are Pro Life. And since either Obama will win or Romney will win and no Independent candidate will win. So voting for Romney is the best choice for the United States.
Don't be deceived. Protect life? Voting for Romney won't stop a single abortion. It's been the law of the land since 73'. No administration, Republican or Democrat has changed that. You have to look at the other issues a candidate stands for as well, caring for the poor, etc when considering who you will vote for.
One thing is certain, when the Mormon calls for a day of pray, God to bless America, etc. will God hear him? Probably no more than he has when Obama does similarly, but know this, Mormonism is a direct attack on who God says he is and what he is not. God will not look past that sin.
Ultimately, God will be the one who determines who will sit on the throne and who will not!
There are many who are confused about what makes or constitutes a Christian.
Can you be a Democrat and not be a Christian. How about Republican Cristians who will be voting or attempting to vote into office as president a cultist who believes that God is merely a glorified man and nothing more and other soul-damning heresy? Who God says should be anathema to the christian because he is bringing another gospel which is not the gospel at all.
Check the scriptures, the bible, itself, provides us with the true definition of a christian. There's the good and bad in both parties.
There is a form of works in play when somewhat tells you that being a democrat or republican makes you right or wrong before God.
