"The Evangelical Lutheran Church has voted to perform same-gender "marriages" and permit practicing homosexuals to become pastors."

Somebody else who does not know the meaning of the word "evangelical."

Yet another church which broke Holy Law and put women in the pulpit, ends up confused about the place of the homosexual in the grand scheme of things.

These are Liberals NOT (R) NOT Christians!

"Crucifixes, Virgin Mary statuettes, ornate Spanish-style churches: so many religious images seem permanently linked with Hispanic Americans"

If these folks are leaving the Roman Catholic idolatries and heresies then so much for the good. Barna apparently noticed that this is not to the benefit of Protestant Churches but mainly a falling away from religion altogether. But all churches have observed reducing congregations in the western nations, so it is no surprise that the Hispanic should do likewise. This is a very trying time for the Christian in many ways. What with smaller attendance levels we are also seeing moral decline in church and nation as well as doctrinal decline in the churches. Signs of the times? Or what is the Lord doing today? Weeding out the nominals?

Martin Luther and John Calvin.

There are many more I could name but I nominate these two because they were clearly used by God to remove the Church from the Idolatrous Roman Catholic error, fallacy and heresy. Praise be to God"

The Reformation which God ordained brought about the Protestant Church which consequently provided a pure Scriptural form of worship for the Elect. Praise be to God!

The Protestant Church returned the congregations to Sola Scriptura - and subsequently distanced the true Christians from the worship of graven images, rediculous relics and the blasphemous mass. Praise be to God!

The reason why the Roman Catholic outfit is not Sola Scriptura - is that their religion wants to worship::
Idolatry
Heresy
maryolatry
iconolatry
relics
old bones
dead sinners
toast
and whatever else these poor misguided infidelic heathen raise to deify.

Hmmm Now what would the Apostles say?

Acts 15:20 "But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

Acts 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well."

Muslims slaughter/sacrifice a sheep (or...) at the end of Ramadan. (Eid ul fitr)
Quote;
"Muslims who can afford to do so sacrifice their best domestic animals (usually sheep, but also camels, cows and goats) as a symbol of Ibrahim's sacrifice. The sacrificed animals, called uḍiyyah (Arabic: أضحية‎, also known as "al-qurbāni"), have to meet certain age and quality standards or else the animal is considered an unacceptable sacrifice. Generally, these must be at least a year old."(Wiki)
