SteveR wrote: a) The definition of sin is literally 'missing the mark.' And you continue to miss the mark b) Continue to read those chapters with a refresher in the Books of History.(Joshua, Judges, Samuel, Kings & Chronicles)
a) Suggest you read Romans 7:14-25 and redefine your definition of sin.
b) If by asking me to read the Bible you want me to reach the misguided conclusions you have about heretical religions; - Then God will not allow me to make that error. Thanks be to God.
May the Lord bring you into His counsel and truth.
SteveR wrote: Ezekiel would admonish not only the RCC but our Churches as well
Still no answer eh?
Ah well perhaps your conviction/contention that God deliberately places some of His disciples in sinful and idolatrous circumstances is as unanswerable as it is unBiblical.
God's statement to the Roman Catholic idolatrous and heretical branch of the reprobation is the Bible and the Reformation.

Ez 8-20 relates to Jerusalem being eyebrow deep in idolatry. If then you are suggesting that the "Christian" in the RCC is put there by God to teach the truth and against the evils of idolatry. - Then my question remains unanswered.
Ezekiel is sent to reveal the truth to Jerusalem. Ez 14:4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; 5 That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols. 6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations."
These COVERT Christians of yours are failing miserably in their task - and keeping very quiet about the evil of idolatry, heresy etc etc. They are not teaching the truth!
Where is your evidence that REAL Christians are teaching the truth in and as part of the RCC???
SteveR wrote: You will find that answer in the Book of Ezekiel chaps 8-20
You have problems discerning the truth in Scripture.
Where in those verses do you find God teaching His people to ditch the commandmensts and embrace idolatry.
RCC Idolatry? Ezek 8:12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth. 13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
Ezek 14:3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: SHOULD I BE ENQUIRED OF AT ALL BY THEM?
SteveR wrote: it would be better for Christians in the RCC
If - as you assert - there are Christians in the Roman Catholic organisation, why then does God allow His people to remain in and under an idolatrous and blasphemous system which works against Him on earth?
Do you believe that God assists Satan in his evil work among humanity?
Do you think that God works against His Holy Word in this, eg: ~ "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1John 2:4.
It clear that Rome does not keep the Commandments.
