Luther threw the "holy sacrament of marriage" under the bus 500 years ago. Said it reeked of Catholocism because it didn't work with sola fide. Thus, he placed Christian marriage in the hands of the secular magistrate. So, Methodists don't have this holy sacrament. Never did. Baptists don't have it. Never did. Luther took that sacrament away many centuries ago. The holy bond of matrimony has never been an option for the Protestant.
