If one\'s study of the Word of God forces one to believe that God loves the elect when the Bible states \"God loves the world\" and change the meaning of \"all\" to some in places that do not conform to his theology than one has to wonder what Bible ARE they reading.
I rather step up into the plate for God than for any man any day.

Out of all due respect, I think I am a very intelligent individual who just happens to believe that the Gospel is simple enough for anyone to understand. I believe that your heart has been darkened to believe that any time the word elect appears in the Bible that it must be unconditional election. Last time I checked my dictionary there is nothing unconditional about elect. Last time I checked my Bible, there is nothing that states that God allows only an arbitrary few to be saved. In fact it states the complete opposite.
