Let me just say one thing please if I may. As much as it is horrific to hear of gun violence in any form any gun control legislation will not solve the problem. It may prevent some but certainly not much. But in this nation the right to own guns is a right. A right that was put there from the beginning in order to protect the people from an oppressive government. Europe and russia and china and north korea are all examples in the last century of what strict gun laws bring to a society...i for one think keeping guns in the hands of the people is worth the risk.
