"When the abortion drug didn’t work, . . ." means the parents attempted to murder their own child regardless of the influence. The sole decision of attempted murder rests on the parents and they should be tried for it in court. The doctor is an accessory in attempted murder and should be tried for it in court, as well. Everyone involved in this situation should be ashamed of themselves. God's grace abounds for all who seek it and may they find the Lord through this situation through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We as believers in God's Word should not be surprised.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Pew view, to say that arminians "claim a share in the glory" is a horrible claim to make. I am not a calvinist, but i claim NONE of the glory for myself!!!
I realise that I am a sinner, saved by the grace of God, through the blood of my Lord, Jesus Christ. I realise that I did not deserve salvation, but that Christ died for me nonetheless.
Without faith NOBODY can be saved, the Bible makes this explicitly clear time and again. So I do not see how I am claiming a share in the glory by believing that I am saved by grace through faith.
No matter what the calvinist says, faith on the part of the believer is a biblical requirement for salvation, and if one does not have faith then they will receive the consequences of that lack of belief.
I believe that faith in Christ is not an automated predestined characteristic that is programmed into certain people, but a genuine belief in Him and a desire to follow Him.
