God came to earth and chose His way of life. He could have lived at any level of society. But He made a specific point in the decision He made and the level He picked and stayed with in His life on earth. Was he right or wrong? Did He make a point and teach something by His way of life? Does His choice have something to say about life to you?
Abraham was rich, as was Job. So what? Does that teach that we should all be rich?

Christ also performed miracles and came to die on the cross. Try following him in these things also, unless you believe that this has nothing to say about life to you.

Didn't we all learn this song in Sunday School?

"Father Abraham had many sons,
Many sons had Father Abraham.
I am one of them,
And so are you,
So let's just praise the Lord!"

If we're not in his lineage, then we're cut off from eternal life, right?

Likewise with our Muslim neighbors.

Rick's not evil. He's building a bridge between us and our neighbor. We should praise and not stone him.

Don't Christians and Muslims both worship the God of Abraham? Perhaps Pastor Rick isn't so evil after all.
