Sounds like a wise and prudent way to curtail The Obssesive Compulsive Disrorders that have overtaken even some good people. 2nd it, 3rd it, and 4th it. Have been gone for a while and will soon take a much needed internet sabbatical, along with the rest of my staff.
Still here. Sometimes it helps to quietly listen and observe in order for people to get it all out, and to be able to make an accurate diagnosis. Answering a matter before one hears it, is folly and shame.
So far, the disorders Iv'e observed have remained the same with the same patients, and those who should be patients. However, there seems to be an alarming number of new posters suffering from OCD, as well as AGPR (Answeringnus Goodimus Peopleumas Rudelyumas)and a new disorder, that I have coined "Mutltiple Monikerism". Guess some people woke up on the wrong side of the Bedlam. I mean Royaly!
John UK wrote: Amazing, tw. Almost everything you say is the complete opposite of the reality. I guess if Dr Zoloft was here, he would present us with the name of a medical condition which you obviously have.
Ah yes. Narcissistic, Combative paranoid delusion Personality Disorder,(manifesting in a pesecution complex) with Secondary Theological Reversalism.
John UK wrote: Answer: 1. Well that proves my point. You don't even know what a KJV-Onlyist cultist is, yet you lambast them continually, whoever they are. 2. "Probably"??????? More speculation from Nebraska Man on what constitutes a KJV-Onlyist cultist. Don't you know, Jim???? 3. No I can't; can you? Besides which, the strawman you keep bringing up, namely, the language thing, is merely a distraction from the real issue at the heart of your harangue, which is: WHICH HEBREW AND GREEK TEXTS ARE THE WORD OF GOD, INERRANT AND INSPIRED? Ah, we don't like talking about the real issue do we, Jim? Because you imagine vainly that the Bible should be translated from the minority texts; so called, because they are in the minority, in fact, very few of them, including Sinaiticus (which also has the Shepherd of Hermas and the apocrypha, soon to appear in modern Bibles everywhere) and Vaticanus, kept under wraps by the Pope, and used by Nestle/Aland.
Nebraska Man's nasb attitude sure makes him one tough Hesperopithecus haroldcookii, but he will crumble anyway.
Sad thing is; I used to use the nasb. But after years of reading his comments, I put it aside. I just became ill with it.

And there were the voices. Sometimes I would talk back to the voices, while I drank my Pop. Or was I listening to the Pop? I forget. Where iz my doctor?
Pop into my office sometime, and we will see what we can do for you.

No; he's got plenty of company from all his other monikers.

And if, when you arrive, you discover hundreds of folks crying out in agony of soul, wringing their hands, sweating profusely, weeping and lamenting, and crying out, "What shall I do?", hold back a minute before opening your black bag to minister painkillers, as it just might be a Holy Ghost visitation, coming in revival blessings, which always commences with a season of penitence, supported by a renewed application of faith in the finished work of Christ at Calvary's Cross, and a refilling of the Spirit in baptismal proportion. Oh joy!
Thanks John. We were pretty close to it at times. It's been years since Iv'e seen spontaneous alter responses. While the preachers were preaching, people of all ages were coming to the prayer alter praying intensly. Preachers in the midst of the sermons would break down crying from truths that God showed them.
We had nine to twelve preachers a day, and none of it dead. There was no need for any SRI's. It was a Spiritual tsunami, and we are still feeling the aftershocks. Of course we are still praying for Japan. Thet were not sinners above all others. but unless we (the U.S.) repent, we shall likewise perrish
I might be able to take him on as a new patient. My last patient with the SCREaming caps lock, has split of into at least six other personalities. Another one will most likley be totaly cure on May 22nd, so I'll see if my nurse, Miss Serotonin, can work him in. That is if he feels "Lead" to come in
Confuseddisorder wrote: Dr Zoloft At least we do understand that we have a good Dr/Patient relationship. Patient study is a further good prescription for many disorders. After seeking that appoinment with you, our Great Physician later brought me to read the following. In fact it was read for the first time only 5 mins ago. We should all read it and see if it does indeed confirm what I had written earlier. I cancel my appointment with you as I know I am in good health and praise and thank the Great Physician for His providential provision see
Great diagnostic tool. The W/H disorder has weakened many christains.
Confuseddisorder wrote: Dr Zoloft I have a title for my (imaginary) book: One Man's Version of the Truth is the same as another Man's version of the truth. I had a dream that some guy with that Multiple Personality Disorder stole my book and changed 5% of my writing, then said his version of the truth was my version of the truth, even though he has deleted some sections of my version Some other guy with the same disorder then stole his book and is going to publish a different version, then another guy, now there are a hundred different versions of my version Some guy wants to now bin my version of the truth for his version.
Can I have an appointment to see you, what if all the posters (except me and you) on sermon audio are really the SAME PERSON that is a scary thought
Yes. Your dream is Not imaginary. It is representative of the Truth. Your only problem is Distress, which is perfectly normal since you have been robbed as to your right as an author. You have the right to have the matter settled in court. As to more than the two posters being the same person, I have thought of that myself, but I didn't want to be paraniod. I've always been afraid of that. Of course a Pair of noids is better than one noid.

Hear him shouting to George Whitefield...'You've got the wrong Bible, it's a RC version in your hand. God won't save sinners with that!' 'Mr Spurgeon...that's a RC Bible in your hand!' Jim is in need of help if he thinks the AV is a RC translation I have seen some strange comments by Jim, but that is the strangest... Ruckmanites are a far less weird cult that Jim's mad monkeyisms Jim's one man protest not today Jim
John UK wrote: Capital! Whereabouts in the smoke is your laboratory, good Doctor? Not Battersea is it now? Now your patient is most most interesting. Some folks yell a lot, but your case study seems to yell at everybody and everything. He even yells at his friends. Reminds me of Jack Russell. But what I really don't comprehend, is why, seeing as he is a fundamentalist Baptist, that other fundamentalist Baptists do not rebuke and exhort him with all longsuffering and doctrine, as to his yelling and telling science fiction stories and having a triple-personality, one of which votes one way, one votes the other way, and the other abstains. Or do fundamentalist Baptists see in him the epitome of the fundamentalist Baptist ethos, namely, to be militant towards the Reformed, to yell at everybody, and see Reds under the bed, and Jesuits in the cupboard? As for holding forth the AV 1611, I'd rather he didn't!
Great analysis. If you ever need a job, contact my assistant; Sara Tonin. Lets pray for Him & Jim.
John UK wrote: Does the good Doctor Zolof know about that shift key? He may want to give it a thorough examination; after all, that may be the key to the entire mental problem.
Ah; a Capital idea indeed. My patient suffering from the Illnoise may defend the right bible, but he has put himself in the isolation room through his continual insults of his fellows and his yelling at them. He really only voted for the other guy when he was someone else.

My appologies. I thought you had picked up on the sublty of my first post. I was originaly answering WR's post in which he believed the Tony was also posting under the name of A Bible Christian who believes. So, in order to make my comment clear, and there will be no misunderstanding: No I was not reffering to you at all. I was reffering to Tony and A bible christian who believes, as having the same problem. I appologize for attributing to you more cleverness that you have. You normaly show good insight in your posts, and I've never seen you portray defensivness like this before. I know there are non protestants that post here. I also know that there are Paranoid people who call people names because they disagree with them. So, one more time to make it clear; I was not talking about you.
