Sermon:
I was the king's cupbearer
Rev. Thomas Martin
1
comment
“ Great Sermon! ”
I thank my God for leading me to this message. Rev Martin used this single sentence at the end of Nehemiah Chapter 1 to open up a multitude of scripture for me. I am also thankful that this is not "copyrighted material" because it will soon be recycled from my pulpit and the many others that I preach from. May God bless you for your passion for lost souls. Hebrews 6:10

Dessie,

Our ggg-ancestors Adam & Eve, sold their inheritance to Satan for the price of sin. Actually, Satan has a legal lease on this world and he is in control. This is the reason sin, war, death, and evil prevails.

Thank God! Satan's lease is running out, but before it does things will get a lot worse than this. When Christ returns, Rev. 19:11 the heir-ship property will revert back to its' original owners. (see, year of jubile, Lev.25:8-14).

Thank God, as well, for the Law of Redemption Lev. 26:47-49...(here the stranger is satan, and the brother who redeems is our Savior, Jesus Christ.)

You are in The Father's hands, but the world, for now, is in the devil's hands.

No Global Warming? I’m so disappointed!

I was looking forward to lower heat bills, more time fishing, longer summers, and nice beach days. We were getting ready to pack away these heavy coats, long johns and boots. I’m glad I didn’t spend all that money on a new garden tractor, I was getting excited about a world class garden with tomatoes big as bowling balls.

Talk about green. Can you imagine how much green the world would have if Mr. Gore’s prophecies would come to pass? The plant life would be sucking up so much CO2 and pumping out so much Oxygen we’d probably be living to be hundreds of years old, like during the Pre-Flood greenhouse days.

Mr. Cameron and Jacobovici, and other Biblephobics.

Try this with other world religions...you wouldn't dare!

I"ve watched the Discovery Channel, History Channel and National Geographic bash the Bible and Christianity in recent years in such a way they would never dare do any other world religion. These unholy 3 trust Nostrradamus, Egyptian hieroglyphics, and the Aztecs as infallible while they mock and ridicule the Word of God. When they need an "expert" opinion they always find some liberal Bible skeptic professor from a prestigious university to support their Christian bashing.

Even a cave man had more fear of God than the experts of today.

Matt. 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Before many of you "thinketh evil and rejoiceth in iniquity..." you should read the link:

Group apologizes to SBC leaders, admits charges 'erroneous'
http://bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?ID=25036

I do not defend any sin in the camp of Southern Baptist Churches but, usually we are noted for being too strict on issues, NOT the other way around. I remember the media's harshness against us because of a policy against women pastors but, said nothing about the Jewish, Catholic, or Muslim priesthood being male only. Most SBC churches do extensive background, reference, credit and criminal investigations on any pastor they call.
The national and state conventions have absolutely no authority over a local SBC church except dis-fellowship. This dis-fellowshipping occured in two Georgia churches in 1999 and even in my local association in 2002 with churches that embraced homosexuals. I'm sure the same would apply to any perverts.

Jim,
I doubt John the Baptist (Luke 1:15)or anyone else in the Bible lived a more righteous or seperated life than my Lord Jesus Christ.
Outside of your opinion, there is NO evidence that Jesus ever drank alcholic wine. Even at the Lord's supper table he did not have old wine in the cup...HE HAD A CLUSTER OF GRAPES in His hand. He speaks of "this fruit of the vine" the fruit is the grapes not the juice...it was that fresh! He squeezed it into the cup just as Joseph did in Genesis 40:11.

The good old Southern Baptist were some of the greatest soul winners of their day but, they started going down hill when they left the authority of the authority of the God honored, proven King James Bible. Now over 10,000 of the 41,000 Southern Baptist Churches report no new souls saved in any given year. That's over a million sermons total preached in these churches without results. Now that the SBC has published their own translaion (the Holman) things will get worse.
Without a final authority it's "anything goes". Sometimes as a Bible Believing conservative SBC pastor, former missionary and associational director...I feel all alone. But Thank God there are still 7,000 who haven't bowed a knee to Baal.

Good for Maria!

The very teaching of evolution is based on a militant racial premise.

It has always sounded to me like the evolutionist believe that one race of our species must be more primitive than the other. Why is it they find the most primitive man in Africa? And the most advanced in the university professor's chair? I'm sure Adolf Hitler would have encouraged such a teaching.

All evolutionist are racial bigots and they are convinced that they are superior to the Creator.

Evolution is an insult to The Lord God, The Word of God, and all mankind.

I thank my God that He says we are equal.

These modern Gnostic, as all "science falsely so called" do all their research with a presupposition.

Merriam-Webster
1 : to suppose beforehand
2 : to require as an antecedent in logic or fact.

They have already made up their minds to discredit The Word of God and The Son of God before they read their first letter from some apostate Alexandrian archbishop.
And how is it the Sodomite Da Vinci become an expert on The Lord Jesus Christ?
A man can always find an excuse to go to Hell if he wants one.

Praise God! I applaud these chrches for taking Baptist off of their names. They don't worship like Baptist, they don't believe like Baptist, they are ashamed of the Baptist roots and doctrines.
THEY ARE NOT BAPTIST...but at least they are honest enough to stop the hypocricy and get "Baptist" off their names. Thousands of other churches should follow their example of integrity.
When these apostate liberals started attacking the King James Bible they lost their spiritual minds.
