“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you for a very useful and little mentioned matter of what we read. Personally it arrested me for little by little I was beginning to read outside of that which I knew to be helpful, and this came as a seasonable warning. I was able also to access Dabney. On 'Dangerous Reading' from the internet.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Having heard this sermon I just felt.O Wonderful, Wonderful Jesus that can from the heart of men bring forth such devotion and love to the Saviour, and my yearnig is that it might be more so within my heart, for a heart without it a river bed run dry.

Thank you. It is most wonderful for me to realize that this message to the broken hearted is one that is, unlike a visit to the Dr who might be dealing with a problem that is temporary in its nature, this is a disease that must find a daily remedy for as many days as life is granted and for each day the promise is given that this healing is in anticipation to that day when all those effects of sorrow, sin being the cause, be those former things Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. and that even now Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. O to Love Him more.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I never tire of hearing, and by the grace of God, believing Genesis one as literal history, a history into which the Son of God would himself come, declaring Himself as the creator of this world. What a doctrine. Absolutely foundational and essential for the understanding of the scriptures of Truth

Since it is God's word and God is eternal it is impossible but that his word should be preserved. His word is the declaration of Himself which He in wonderful Grace through the Person of His Son the Lord Jesus Christ has by revelation made Himself known to us. God word is preserved in Himself and were it not so then God would Himself not exist. His word is not preserved by man,how often he has throughout history sought to destroy it, even as they sought to destroy The WORD, but is risen again. He sends His word to whome he will and none can hinder it as Paul could say, when in chains, but the word of God is not bound 2 Timothy 2vs 9
The preserving of Gods word is more than just a printed page, it is the preserving of His own Truth and the Glory of His word. Any one who adds to it or takes from it is cursed. How terrible then for any who will disregard it or think within themselves that it is something of such little worth that it might not be preserved. We may so regard it but |God most certainly does not because it is so intimately bound up in the name of His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ. I am sorry to be so long winded in this but it is a most serious blashemy to suggest that God cannot preserve His own word. We might say one thing and do another but not God.
