Just to be clear, Albert Mohler says belief in a god (a deity) and evolution are not mutually exclusive BUT he also adds that belief in the God of the Bible and evolution ARE!:
Albert Mohler: "There can be no doubt that evolution can be squared with belief in some deity, but NOT the God who revealed himself in the Bible, including the first chapters of Genesis."
Oh, and you might include the fact that evolution requires the dying of less evolved life forms and the God who breathed His word into the Bible (2 Tim. 3:16) says, "Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned (Rom 5:12)."
Sin is defined by the 10 Commandments as self-centredness, first towards God and then towards others. It is the natural reaction of the mortal being to his mortal nature gained at the fall of man due to Adams own rebellion against God. It is instinct or nature of self preservation which the immortal need not concern itself with, though one such as the devil chooses to.
