Why not have the " Starbucks " of choice. We the same choices when comes to the bible( 200+ flavors), church ( 1000's of flavors) and moral standards. So I guess we can call this the Starbucks age. I guess the Mormons are not all wrong we do becomes god sooner than we though because we decide what is right and wrong and what is best. Starbucks Community church that names just sounds like a good place to worship.
Kenny is right. Almost all CCM bands are like this band or they support perverts , drinking, and/or being as worldly as possible as not to offend. No one really should be surprised by this anyway. It's the norm in today's and the " everyone does that which is right in their own eyes " days that we live in.
He's right NAMBL started the same way as homosexual movement started. At first they just wanted to be able to do and then now they want everyone to accept it as normal. This happens because the church has been asleep and preachers preaching about health and wealth and teaching the church how to be good little compromisers on every issue they face. Serving God has always been a privilege and not a right. Reasonable service (Rom 12:1)
John then why not celebrate it on another day. Why do people celebrate it on a pagan holiday. If the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice then why do people put more effort and make a big deal of Christmas than they do about Christs death, burial, and resurrection. The importance is with that. We are actually told to remember that not his birth. Christ birth doesn't safe us but the shedding of his blood does.
Russ you are right. Christmas is a holiday tradition and that's it. It not a Christian Holy day. It's a vain tradition that man has made up. C H Spurgeon warned people against celebrating it. Weak christians put more into this holiday than into studying Gods words. If they did they would see that Christ wasn't born in December on the winter solstice (pagan holiday) and oh yeah Christians are not commanded/instructed to observe his birth.
Lorrick God has delt with the UK. The sun never set on the United Kingdom 100 years or more ago and now the sun never rises on the UK. that might be why your getting that mega Allah cult building.
"Not the Dr" and " evil charms" you all are right. Just use the Bible. The buffets are open longer on Sunday's , why not just take the extra time and use the bible.
