“ To God be the Glory! ”
A breath of fresh air! I struggle with this kind of thing, especially after reading Romans 14:23. However, it is important to take the whole counsel of God together in seeking to walk in holiness; we ought to be convinced in our minds that we are doing is pleasing to God, but we also ought to be convinced that adhering to un-Biblical standards does not impress Him. May God bless you, sir!

“ Great Sermon! ”
May God bless you sir, and empower you to preach Christ Jesus. It is true; we must look to Christ and trust in Him (Isaiah 45:22; Matthew 11:28-30; John 14:1-6)

“ Great Sermon! ”
By God's grace, Dr. MacArthur seems to have a very Biblical informed manner of preaching that helps one think about the truth of God and apply it. I feel that I've been struggling a little in prayer, and I thank God that I was able to find this series. May God bless and use GTY

“ Powerful Grace ”
In Christ, there is forgiveness and grace available to all who would but trust Him. This sermon was spirit-filled and a powerful call to come to the Lord Jesus. I am thankful to have experienced this yesterday.

Yes, it is sad how many Christians believe in abortion and contraception. The blood of these children cries out to God as Abel's blood. Honestly I was speaking to narrow when i said that we need preachers who believe and preach the Bible. Yes, the Holy Spirit must work in the hearts of the people who hear the Word. But the word also need to be preached rightly. Part of that is proper application. Not just merely verse by verse preaching.

Well, I'm young and Christian. I think one reason so many young people are leaving the Christian church is because so many churches don't really preach the bible. They don't preach it because they don't believe it. So, young people don't really know the bible, even if they grew up in church. WE NEED REAL PREACHERS WHO BELIEVE AND PREACH THE LIVING WORD OF GOD.

Well, the Roman catholic Church does not believe in justification by faith alone, which is the doctrine by which the church stands or falls.

Why? The kid was the one who asked for the Bible. Also, the public school system is not a neutral educational system when it comes to religion. It just teaches a secular humanist/postmodern religion. So the schools are full of religious materials, but only the ones approved by the state.

Expecting ordinary people to learn early modern English to read the Bible is, frankly, unrealistic. Give people a Bible in their own language! The KJV is important historically, but there are better better translations in the language we speak today
I thought nowadays we were better "educated" than in previous centuries???

Yet the KJV has been in use for FOUR centuries, in church and sunday schools!

Perhaps we are not as smart as we think we are?

"There are four great spiritual movements which colour the last four centuries - The Quakers, The Puritans, The Methodists and The Evangelicals.
All these movements had an immense influence in moulding and shaping the passing of these centuries.

Many arguments might be ignited about Fox, about Owen, and the Puritans, about Whitefield and the Wesley brothers and about Spurgeon, the Second Evangelical Awakening and the birth of Modem Missions.
There is no argument, no dispute and no doubt that all these movements issued from the Bible and led the peoples involved back to the English Authorized Version." (Ian R.K.Paisley)
