Sermon:
The Rapture

“ Pearl! ”
This message from a man who ought to be heard. I found his commentary on the local vs universal church, as it pertained to the sermon topic, particularly profound. This is a highly relevant message that needs to sting (too) many ears. Keep preaching Mr. Dixon. As we get older it is common to become set (settled) in our ways and overly confident with past success as you have had; your great trials no doubt helped to give you a great humility which I believe is evident in the truths you have come to embrace. Thank you, brother!

I lean towards Rob Bell not being confused but rather beholden to some nefarious agenda; not unlike many others: Gloria Steinam (high priestess of anti-Christ feminism compliments of your local CIA), B.G. (high priest of ecumenism and undermining THE Word of God), et al

All Believers need to stand up and despise the shame that will be heaped upon those who stand on the Word of God. If we do not stand now, especially when we are in the majority, Jesus will be ashamed of us.

Great comments by Pastor Eric Ludy in the article.

“ Correction ”
Correction to my comment in my review below: Mel Gibson's flick "Last Temptation..." should reference his movie "Passion of the Christ". "Last Temptation...", of course, was yet another example though made by other blasphemers.

“ Picture Perfect ”
Pastor Faust once again pierces the heart of this world's culture (programming) with bible truth. How many times will believers allow satan to mock them with this (often effeminate appearing) hippie they call Jesus? Believers flocked to the theaters to be fleeced in drinking in Mel Gibson's flick "Last Temptation..." where another hippie makes an appearance calling himself Jesus. Jesus was and is perfect. He would not ever bear the mark of having the long hair that He says is a shame. This hippie Jesus image that is so indelibly burned in the minds of everyone has me wondering if THE antichrist will resemble that false image. This message (and see part 2 also) is part of a series on hair and head covering in which Pastor Faust illuminates the true picture(s) that God gives us in relation to hair (for both men and women). I highly recommend not only this series to you but all messages by this pastor. What is clear is that pictures are VERY important to God; we as believers ought to tread very carefully in ever even blurring HIS pictures. Pastor Faust as a curator of God's pictures; he does it well.

Sermon:
The Bible and Slavery

“ William Wilberforce Smiles ”
In my lifetime regarding the issue of discrimination, in particular the “whites” towards “blacks”, there is an underlying connotation in our culture, at least, that the christian Bible somehow advocates slavery and that Christianity is in part responsible for America’s shame on this front. As usual, when His Word and goodness are attacked, the opposite is true. Pastor Faust, once again, illuminates our understanding of God’s character through His word. And there is no shortage of evidence as presented here in this message on this issue. Download this message and be better equipped to educate the biblical illiterates (believers and non-believers) on this important topic. You will be blessed.

Folks, do not bang your head against the wall trying to understand why America has reached the point of the seeming insanity of things such as this "Pedophile Protection Act".

This has little to do with protecting perversions and everything to do with setting up bible believing Christians for persecution and eventually martyrdom. It is not insanity what is being done along these lines but rather diabolically cunning maneuvering.
