Since it is impossible to obey all the millions of rules that the stupid and those with control issues come up with, might as well be a rule breaker for a reason. Defending against an armed nut job is a very good reason. How can we bemoan the state of the nation, yet support that which is a reflection of it, such as a military gone Pharisee? Military bases as gun-free zones? Are we crazy?
Stevenr, the most telling rule of all is "rules are rules."

Sounds just like what businesses were doing to avoid the costs of private healthcare insurance for their part time staff. More smoke and mirrors.
