I remember having unisex bathrooms in preschool. Even at 3 and 4 years old I remember how uncomfortable I felt about it. At lunchtime the teachers would have all the students get in line to use the restroom. There were no dividers in between each toilet which stood side by side. I would wait until everyone Sat to eat to go but that didn't last long because the teachers caught on to what I was doing and I began to get in trouble because of it. I still remember one little boy who would always stare at me while using the restroom and I told but no one would do anything about it. This was the same boy who I would run from because he would always try to kiss me and of course I would be the one who got punished for running. I see this being a problem especially for the girls. This law is not going to stop bullying and it certainly is not going to protect our youth. The only thing I see coming out of it is a whole new set of problems that are going to lead to more than bullying.
Very Weighty... This is a very weighty sermon for anyone in authority.(parents, teachers, elders, etc.) This was excellent teaching and very convicting.
Wonderful Series Biblically supported, God-honoring sermon series! I pray other women will listen and realize what has been lost but, more importantly, what we can do in the fight against the powers and principalities of the spiritual realms; the honor it returns to God; and the personal humility and love we can show to those men in authority over us.
Anon...how do you know Mary the Lords mother was 12-15 years,we are not told her age so she could have been over 16 years so please don,t add to the bible what is not there.
"God's grace is scorned. His precious Son is crucified afresh. Mercy can show no mercy. Pardon cannot release. God is an adversary. All that God is must strive to heat the furnace of His wrath.
Ah! unbelief! Your heritage is one unmitigable curse. Ah! rebel souls! How will you grapple with almightiness of wrath?
Do any such peruse these humble lines? Ah! Sirs, you see your case! Will you remain on this accursed ground? Will you still live a blighted tree—fit only for the burning? Will you thus hug the chain, which drags you to perdition? Oh! stay. You live, and Jesus lives. Who then can say, that you may not be saved? I sincerely would reason with you; turn not away. The Spirit's power may reach your heart."(H Law)(Lev26:3-14)
"We have set our faces against the idea that one should live on the basis that there is something more than this world to live for. Even if we privately thought that the materialists were wrong in denying God and another world exist, we have not allowed our belief to stop us living on materialistic principles: treating this world as if it were the only home we should ever have, and concentrating exclusively on arranging it to our comfort. We thought we could build heaven on earth, and tried. And now God has judged us for our impiety"(JIP)
