Wow, I never thought of that until now. I guess it could be judgment. Stuff Fundies Like had quoted Chuck Phelps hearing from Les Ollila that CCM is not a sin.
The Fundi's have always called out evil against any churches that preach the gospel, that had a guitar or a drum set as evil and that only they (Fundi's)have good Godly music. That is amazingly ungodly in itself. They, the fundi's are really just a seperatist cult.
But, Les Ollila said their is no sin in Contempory Christian Music. No Sin, then why through these belivers that have one in the mud?
Why do these Fundi's wine so much about music or if your title has the word Baptist in it, which is irrelavent and people are as sick with the word baptist as they are with catholic priest molesting children or pastors hiding rapist in their church.
I think they are just realizing that the Fundamental movement has died but the old people haven't all died yet.
Great Sermon! I used to be completely against "spiritualizing" portions of scripture. I didn't have a clue why God would have included passages such as this, which made zero sense to me, in the Scripture-- that is, until He graciously showed me that my Lord Jesus Christ and Him crucified is the theme of all Scripture! Listen to this message and be edified by it (and I hope you'll no longer be confused by it by God revealing Christ to you through it!)
Amazing This is a wonderful sermon, much needed in times of feeling spiritually dead. It made me tear up. Listen to this and let the words help you see the Savior again, if you feel like you've gone far from Him.
Let's see now, the school is bullied by the ACLU into bullying the students to have to watch supposed anti-bullying films and, when the parents object, they are then bullied into allowing the children to watch the anti-christian propaganda, hmm-m. Make no mistake about it people, these films are patently pro gay sexual propaganda made for no other purpose than to entice a young impressionable child into believing that there truly is another acceptable lifestyle, and it is more then fine to jump right in to that lifestyle. We had better start doing better by the children God placed into our care or, suffer the punishment for the infraction, both here AND in the hereafter at the great judgement. May God have mercy on us all! AMEN
Great Sermon! Wonderful and so key. I was drawn to Acts 8:13 - Simon believed, but his heart was in the wrong place (Acts 8:19). Man looks at outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7).
Faith and repentance are two sides of the same coin. Both grow overtime, only by the grace and mercy of God.
Hey there. Hey Ryan,
Wow, so I guess it's been quite awhile since I've seen you. .and look you're a pastor now!
It is encouraging to see you up there man, there is no doubt in my mind that God has called you to preach.
Your brother in Him,
Baptised in water? You mean like the thief on the cross was? Baptism in water is a work. We are not saved by works. "By grace are you saved through faith, not of works" We are not saved by works such as Baptism in water, we are saved by Grace. We undergo immersion in water as a public profession of our salvation. Baptism in water comes *after* salvation, never before.
JCT wrote: It is simple. If he eccecpted jesus as his lord and saviour and he was repented of any sin in his life and he was baptised in water and fire, then yes.But if he was deep in a sin that lead to death and was not repentent then no. It is up to Jesus himself to make that judgement. Not us.
