My simple question is always
The Bible is so clear on homosexuality so I don't get how any church can, in good conscience, hop on board the gay is okay band wagon without any fear of Gods wrath.
How can they take these positions without any fear of repercussion? Do these denominations, Methodist, Episcopal, etc, believe God has changed? Does anyone know how they justify this?
The other thing that really gets me is all of the young people in the photo, most of whom, will be owning these heresies for life.
Trueman was clear yesterday. This is the recipe:
1. Let your preacher deny the resurrection for years.
2. Unhinge sex from Christian marriage.
3. Transform marriage into an inward-directed bond.
4. Disconnect children from Christian sex.
5. Focus on personal satisfaction -- sexual, emotional, financial.
6. Mix in no-fault divorce.
7. Divorce if out of love, remarry when in love.
8. Divorce your wife if she comes down with a nasty ailment like Alzheimer's; marry a cute replacement model (thanks to Pat Robertson).
9. With this much paganism filling a church, why wouldn't SSM be totally (Rob Bell-esque) cool?
