Great Sermon! Great encouragement to remain faithful to our unchanging God. To grow in the understanding of God's love for the unlovely (my nature before Christ) is an ocean of blessing. God has loved me because of his predetermined will to do so. Many fight against Gods electing love for His people, but its in the Bible from start to finish. As we grow in our understanding of this, we will want to give God our best in worship and obedience in our walk before Him. It is a sin to not know how God has loved us as the people asked in the opening verses of Malachi. God has bought us with a high price and will care for us in every way. All that I am and have belongs to Him.
Great Sermon! I appreciated the encouragement to have a holy violence toward sin. How often I have brushed sin aside and written it off with 'that's just the way I am'or 'everybody does it'-Oh to be like Him....
Great Sermon! This sermon really opened my eyes to the biblical Jesus; it made me examine my view of Jesus and has caused me to repent of self-centered beliefs I had of Christ and his purpose for saving us;thank you for your consistent and faithful preaching week after week;
Great Sermon! Reprobation is difficult doctrine but it's in the Bible. I always thought God passed over unsaved people, but pastor has taught rightly that God chooses some for salvation and others for damnation. We can't pick and choose verses from the Bible, but have to receive the whole Bible. If the word of God (Bible) crosses our thinking, we need to change our thinking. God is God and He never needs to justify himself. His counsels will stand. I appreciate pastor teaching this doctrine and will seek to understand more and more.
Great Sermon! Its amazing to see how interwoven the doctrines of grace are throughout the Bible. To realize and grow in the knowledge that salvation is all of God, makes for a life of tremendous gratitude to God for allowing me to receive and accept his gospel. I need to grow in thankfulness to God for this glorious truth that pastor Richard faithfully exposited here in the parable of the 4 soils. May God grant this to all believers in greater and greater measure.
Great Sermon! Wow, wow, wow!Incredible wisdom from such a simple passage. God is sovereign and uses us as He sees fit and places us where he chooses. Who am I that He would choose one like me..."Lord, be it done to me according to thy word."
Great Sermon! Great exposition and encouragement! If you listen or have the priveledge of attending/sitting under Pastor Caldwell's preaching, its like attending a conference every time. Just rich teaching and truth.
Great Sermon! Very practical and applicable encouragement for today. Bro Richard really opens the word well. I like his consistent encouragement through the exposition of scripture, to live out of the gospel everyday, in every situation. I am seeking to do this more in my life, and bring more glory to God.
Great Sermon! Fantastic sermon...very motivating. As always, I am challenged by RC sermons to examine myself in light of the scripture. A sheep/goat sermon of sorts. Very good reminder on common grace vs. effectual grace of God. How bad do we want to hear from our Lord "well done"? The answer to this will be evident in our effort to be pleasing to Him. This is a great listen and I pray for God to work this in us/me.
Great Sermon! Powerful exhortation to submit to the word of God. Very practical to apply and understand. Excellent teaching on tongues(listen to previous sermon too) if you need to understand this gift and its time and intention. I really grow in wisdom listening to Richards sermons. Thanks pastor
Great Sermon! Great exposition on difficult verse that culminates this section of Tim 2:8-15. I always come away from RC's sermons, challenged to believe the Bible. Underneath every message is 'am I going to believe what the word says,that its the truth,and therefor live it out in my life'. I love his emphasis on our need for God's grace in order to live according to God's design. A lot of my failure to live out his word is due to my fleshly efforts. I need to pray daily for God to empower me, so his rule can be my life. Thank you pastor RC.
Great Sermon! Very encouraging sermon for me in my ministry to others. I like pastor's point early on that scripture is simple yet inexaustible...we never should feel as though we've 'arrived' in the Christian life. I am thankful for that. God's word is such a treasure, and causes me to desire our Lord more and more.
